Anybody remember how much they were asking for it? With or without the claimed $1 million (dismantle/reconstruct fee) deal breaker with Six Flags.

[ This Message was edited by: petegum on 2001-05-08 12:30 ]

i mean if a new park came into town they could have bought it but i'm glad BGW is trying to make it a smoother ride instead of getter ride of it. I mean just look at the Steel Phantom, that was a great ride but was lost because of it's roughness. Phantom's Revenge is my new #1 coaster but i will always miss the old phantom.

Original cost was $4 million, check RCDB. I thought it was funny that they were thinking that the coaster gained value after being shut down for years.
Anyway, DF cost 4 million bucks. However, prices have gone up alot since it was built. A Vekoma SLC is 8 million dollars! It is selling at a very good price.

Also, a good Boomerang cost 5 million dollars, so Drachen Fire is VERY cheap.

I think they should keep Drachen Fire where it is and reopen it. It looks like a really good ride.

I don't think it's worth that much at all. But the price went down 3+ milloin dollars so that is not that bad.

They are not selling it. They were going to, but a while ago they took it off the sale listings.
