What coaster is this?

Today my WeatherBug popped up with a picture of this coaster, I'm just wondering what coaster it is, and where it is. It looks very not new.

If thats the coaster you mean... It looks like the "Doppel Looping" that Conklin Shows has/is trying to sell (Laser Clone)

If you click on the link, you'll get a larger picture in the main banner part of the page that is Desperado in Nevada.

And for all of those that are unfamiliar with Desperado, it is a '95 Arrow Dynamics Hypercoaster that produces an experience which can be comparad to riding a rickety wagon on a cobblestone path. While someone is repeatedly punching you in your sides.

The very first link in this thread has a small picture of a rollercoaster that says Orlando? So I think that is the one, also it's like a slide show after the Desperado thing and the city then a bigger picture comes and says something like. "save money for Orlando with apicture of the rollercoaster." looks cool, i guess...

Anyone ride it back in the day when it was new? Was it better? It seems like it would age horribly what with being in the desert...

/\ Actually, if you read through the entire thread, you'd notice that there are actually two coasters depicted on that site.

Um. It being in the desert has nothing to do with how badly it aged. It's all attributed to Arrow's mediocre engineering and manufacturing. Sure, back in '95 technology wasn't as great as it is today, but that's not an excuse for Desperado. The damned thing opened in 1995 and just for reference sake, B&M's precision engineered masterpiece - Kumba, opened in 1993, two years earlier.

The man does speak the truth, Desperado has no excuse. Kumba is awesomely smooth and great, and it is 2 years older.
