TPR's 2007 Group Trips Information- Spain, Japan & Midwest USA Event Flyers!

Theme Park Review's 2007 Trip Information is here! Below you'll find loads of information about our 3 different Theme Park & Roller Coaster trips we are offering for 2007.

You do not need to be a member of any club, organization, or website to take park in our trips. In fact we ENCOURAGE people who are members or owners of other websites to come join in the fun, represent your site, and bring back photos, videos, and updates to share with your readers! Download the flyers for even more info:

2007 Spain Trip:
http://www.themeparkreview.com/events/TPRS...ipFlyer2007.pdf
This 10 day trip from June 29th, to July 8th, 2007 will take to you the best parks in Spain (and pretty much all of them) to ride well known coasters like Dragon Khan, Stampida, Superman, Torando, Magnus Colossus, Port Aventura's new for 2007 Intamin Rocket Coaster, and much more!

You will also have plenty of time as an option to check out Madrid, Barcelona, visit some water parks, etc. All the fun of the parks and sights in this awesome Mediterranean country!

2007 Mid-West USA Trip:
http://www.themeparkreview.com/events/TPRM...ipFlyer2007.pdf
This 12 day trip from August 2nd to August 13th, 2007 will take you to some of the most well known parks in the USA! Cedar Point, Holiday World, Kings Island, Six Flags Great America, Wisconsin Dells, and MORE!

You'll get to ride Cedar Point's new Maverick, Holiday World's Voyage, Mt. Olympus' Hades, and lots more. If you live outside the USA, this trip would be a GREAT for you to see some of these parks as the dollar currency exchange rate probably works in your favor! =)

2007 Japan Trip:
http://www.themeparkreview.com/events/TPRJ...ipFlyer2007.pdf
This trip is going to be a little bit different from any of the other TPR Group Trips announced so far. The Japan trip is going to be what we are calling a TPR "Adventure Tour!" What does that mean? All the organization and planning will of course be done for you, but there won't be any main coach or bus, but instead we'll do the trip "Robb & Elissa Style" with bullet trains, busses, taxis, monorails, a bit of craziness and a LOT of fun! It will be a great exciting way to experience what getting around Japan is really like! Think of it as an "Amazing Race meets Theme Park Review" style of trip.

This *17 DAY* Japan Tour will take place September 1st to September 16th, 2007 and focus mostly on the lesser visited southern Japan parks and some of the Tokyo area parks including: Space World, Mitsui Greenland, Kijima, Central Park, Universal Osaka, Expoland, Tivoli Park, Parque Espana, Nagashima Spaland, Hamanako Pal Pal, Lagunasia, Fuji-Q, Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea & MORE! There will be 20-24 parks in total!

This is sure to be an amazing experience. Japan became our favorite place to visit after our first trip 2 years ago and solidified its position on our visit last winter! I KNOW we will all have a fantastic time.

What is a "Theme Park Review Trip" like? Just check out the photos and trip reports from our recent UK Tour where 50 TPR members visited 16 parks, had 17 hours of ERT, park perks like photo walk backs, group lunches, even a "pub quiz" and a heck of a lot of fun!
http://www.themeparkreview.com/uk2006/

And if you have any further questions, you can email us directly or we will be having another "TPR Trips Chat" session on Monday, September 18th at 6:00pm PDT, 9:00pm EDT in the TPR Forum Chat Room so any concerns or issues can be addressed. Once the initial deposit date has passed, a private trip forum will be set up so all participants can join in the discussion, give us feedback, and we'll keep you updated with all new information and communication leading up to the start of the tour.

Spots are available for all trips, but are filling up fast and we DO limit the number of people on our trips so that ERT will be REAL "exclusive ride time!" Deposits for Midwest USA and Spain need to be postmarked by September 28th, and deposits for Japan need to be postmarked by October 12th.

For a complete listing of all TPR events and tours click:
http://www.themeparkreview.com/events/events.htm

We hope to see you on one of our trips next year!

^ Yup!

More days at hotel + more park admissions + More stuff = things cost more money!

As a reminder, there will be another TPR Group Trips Chat *TONIGHT* (Monday, September 18th) to discuss the Japan trip and questions you might have about either the Spain or Midwest USA trips. Chat will start at 6pm PDT (9pm EDT)

For information about how to join in the chat, please click here:
url=http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=255759#255759

The transcript from the previous chat session has been posted here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum...ic.php?t=28526 please read through that first as your question might have already been answered.

Hopefully this ongoing communication will help answer any questions you might have about our trips and events!

2007 Trips Update!

Spain Is FULL!

If we get anymore deposits in that were postmarked by 9/28 there will need to be a lottery, if not, you're all in! We will email everyone Thursday to let you know! Uber Secret Spain Trip Board will open on Saturday.

Midwest HAS OPENINGS!

We had so much interest in the Midwest trip that we have decided to do two buses! I can only assure you that this is a GOOD thing! A lot of the US parks are much happier to give us stuff when we have 100 participants rather than 50, and with multiple trains on most coasters you should still never have to wait at ERT. You can ask our UK Trip Peeps...with 53 of us, sometimes the coasters were going half empty! We have 14 spots open for this great trip (with some ERT already confirmed!) so get your deposits in today! Uber Secret Midwest Trip Board will open on Saturday.

Japan Will Have A Lottery!

Keep in mind you still have until October 12th to have a chance at this once in a lifetime TPR Adventure Tour! Yes there will be a lottery, but you'll have just as good of a chance as the others! This will be the smallest of our group trips at right around 30 participants, but it's sure to be amazing!

*A NOTE ABOUT WAITLISTS!*

Please do not get discouraged if you do not make it into one of the trips on a lottery, or if you can't signup just yet, but think you may want to sign up at a later date. We have already had one drop for Spain and two drops for Japan! For the UK trip we had FOURTEEN Drops between October and May...that means FOURTEEN people made it into the trip either from the waitlist or signing up in the Spring!

If you need more information, please download the flyers here:

^ Well, the Spain trip is one bus, and the Japan trip is 30 people, so out of 3 trips it's only one of them we decided to do 2 busses. And it was a hard decision because we really wanted to keep the group as smaller as possible, but like I said in the post, it really turns out that it will end up working out BETTER for us to have the two busses. The American parks really seem to like to have "more people" at the events. And it seems we can negotiate more perks with 100 people then we can with 50. I guess it's the American way..."bigger is better!"

I've I aways said I didn't want the trips to be as big as the out of control mammoth "ACE Trips" which, for example, was 5 busses for the 2002 ECO trip, and that ended up being mostly "Exclusive waiting time."

Think about how things were on the UK trip with 50 people.....there were a lot of "empty trains." Which was nice because it was really exlusive, but at the same time, if there were a few more people it really wouldn't have impacted the trip. Not even at Oakwood on Speed which was probably one of the lower capacity rides on the entire tour was it a problem, or would it have been a problem with more people. So it's not going to be a lot of waiting with 100 people.

And that's the max I think we'd EVER do for a trip!

Just an update on our 2007 Trips -

The Midwest Trip - As of today, 10/12/06, there are only *FIVE* spots left (out of 100) for the Midwest 2007 Tour. If you are interested, please email me at robbalvey@themeparkreview.com or download the flyer for more info on how to secure a spot on the trip: http://www.themeparkreview.com/events/events.htm

The Japan trip - today is the LAST DAY for your deposit to be postmarked. We do have more deposits than spots available so there will be a lottery for this trip. Anyone who does not make the cut due to the lottery will automatically be put on the waitlist.

The Spain trip is full, but we will still take deposits to be put on the waitlist.

Information for all trips can be found on our events page:
http://www.themeparkreview.com/events/events.htm

Hope you see you on a TPR trip in 2007!
