| | | What is up with the phantom? When I went to kennywood I waited 45 mins to ride the phantom, and i was about to get on and they closed the ride. The stopped the lift with people on the trian climbing it? Now I've herd this isn't the first time it happened this year, and it has to do with the brakes, but those brakes were just put in last year? Does anyone know whats going on? |

| | | First off, coasters get stopped on the lift all the time for whatever reason. Even with people on it. If they stop the lift that doesn't mean the mag brakes are not working. They shut down rides for many reasons.
How long was the ride down?

| | | For me it was like 5, everbody kept bugging the attendant to give us an extra ride without a wait, but he wouldn't give in.

I know that as a ride-op/attendant all you know is that on the op pannel the "fault light" starts flashing, and you call the mechanics and they fix it...
edit: Some may have even e-stopped it, thats a common cause to a ride stopping on the lift, because someones doing something wrong or whatever...
