Happy Birthday Steel Force!

I just had to throw it in. Magnum was around first but Steel Force among other Morgan's led the way in the Hypercoaster rush that soon came to be. Steel Force debuted 5/30/1997. My first view of the ride was on a class trip just a few days before this debut. It has a great presence in the great atmosphere that is Dorney Park, Allentown Pennsylvania

Happy 10th Birthday Steel Force!

^^"Truth" does NOT equal "opinion."
Steel Force is miles better than all of the other coasters at Dorney Park. If Storm Runner didn't exist, it would be my favorite coaster in PA.
Happy Birthday!

Steel, if Steel Force is your second favorite coaster in PA, then I think you might wanna ride some more coasters. Phantom's Revenge, Great Bear, Talon, and Hydra are all far superior rides to Steel Force that are in PA. Yes, I know its' a mtter of opinion, but I'm willing to bet there is VERY little people that would disagree with me here.

Very little people? You mean like gnomes?
Great Bear and Hydra were both completely boring. I hated Talon with everting in my heart. When I rode it, Steel Force had massive ejector air on every hill. I'm not exaggerating, it was forceful in all the right places.
So go ahead and let me have my own opinions.

No way is Hydra better than Steel Force. I would say Steel Force is the best coaster in Dorney (now that Hercules is gone).

Happy Birthday Steel Force. But I already said it to you in person mid-May.

Talon is the best coaster in the park by a longshot. Dominator is the best overall ride. Steel Force is the second best coaster there, but it doesn't make it really exceptional. It's a fun ride and has a cool helix, and fun floater air. Gotta love the park it's in too.

I actually enjoya front row ride on Thunderhawk more than Steel Force. I do like Steel Force, but it usually lacks anything spectactular.

The second half craziness makes up for the first half. At the end of the first half I love the helix. Coasters have come a way since Steel Force. It's still looks great and has a presence in the park. Talon beats it. Laser and Steel Force in the bottom half of the park make a great combo.

Can someone please explain to me the obsession with Talon? I would have liked it a heck of a lot more if I hadn't been knocked out by the forces at the beginning of the ride.
I have to keep telling myself that I got it on an off day. Are the positives really that strong? There has to be some sort of legal limit that they surpass.

Talon has strong forces? Please, I'll take BTR over it anyday. Talon's all floaty. Steel Force since the year it opened is somewhat fun, but more that forceless. Nitro kicks its ass all over in every category. Better drop, better hills, better airtime, better helix, better ending run, better trains, better everything.

So I say happy birthday to Steel Forceless anyway. It gave me my first taste of speed and heights as my first hyper.
