| CP's Space Spiral
Question.... Why does CP always park its Space Spiral half way up its post when not in use? |

Don't know. But I do think that other parks do this too? I'm pretty sure that Six Flags Great America does it. And of course during Fright Fest when they have the King Kong impersonation inflatable standing atop the cabin.

The MN State Fair has a tower like CP's and it does the same thing with theirs.

It leaves the weight balance in the center instead of at the top and bottom.

^^And also so it's harder to sneak into it/hide in it/vandalize it.

Carowinds leaves theirs at the top of the tower. I haven't really paid attention to any other park's observation towers after hours though.
