Why would the return of a scrambler be bad? It's a traditional ride.

If a Topspin should go as well that's just problems then waiting to happen. I don't want them to go that way.

Not a scrambler, a wipeout. SFNE still has its Scrambler (in back on the Boomerangs lifts)

Joker was removed a few years ago.. It was slow, BORING, and while inside... it wasnt in the dark, ever. Also the park had a no solo-rider rule with the ride and it took forever to load for a cycle that truly was 30 seconds long.

Ironic the sign says the ride is "temporarily" closed. I guess investing in new signs to indicate it won't be opening again is just too expensive.

We had a Wipeout style ride at SFGADV called El Sombrero. Awesome ride and sadly it was removed from Frontier Adventures like 5 years ago. El Toro went over its spot. That model was great, the one at HP was decent. That's moving to Dutch Wonderland. Did Schwarzkopf make those aging models and Chance just happens to have their own as well? There was no single riders on the Knoebels Wipeout so I couldn't tell you about this model.

Canobie lets solo riders on its Wipeout. And I've ridden many older Trabants alone.

If SFGADV's was a Trabant I was allowed to ride it alone. I guess Cedar Point would still have theirs by the observation tower and Demon Drop.

This blows. Does SF just like removing flat rides or something? Hopefully it will be relocated, I doubt it though.

A number of companies made them throughout the years. Chance had 2 models the Tribant which I believe were around form the 60's to the 80's and the newer Whipeouts. SDC, Gerstlauer(dance Pavilion), Mack (hully Gully) and Emiliana Luna Park(Dance Fly). there may have been a few others.

Anyone heard where the Flyaway might be going? I was supposed to get there this year, but then I was part of the skybus disaster and didn't get to go. I mainly wanted to go for flats and Superman. Did I hear correctly that SWAT is also history or do I have my parks mixed up?

Swat (Catapult) was going to be removed after last season.. But it ended up staying and ran most of this year.. But as of now its down for the season (suns removed and all)

As far as where Nightwing is going.. Word is "overseas"
