Gravity Group IAAPA Announcement

The Gravity Group announced a new design for wood coaster trains today at IAAPA. The new line of improved rolling stock will be called Timberliners.

The new trains have single bench seating, shock absorption, new and improved rider safety system for faster dispatch times, the ability to handle magnetic brakes and on board audio.

Here's the full story.

Awesome. I wonder how the on-board audio will work with the noise of a wooden coaster? They are quite a bit louder than thier steel counterparts.

The on board Sound System sounds interesting but not as interesting as the line that mentioned launch capabilities.
