| Coaster cars spotted on I-70
Wondering if anyone can provide some insight into this for me. I don't have any pictures of the cars, but my husband saw a truck with a coaster train on the back of it heading west on I-70 between Columbus and Dayton Ohio. He said the cars were silver with a red stripe and looked like mine train style cars. My first thought was a Geauga Lake transplant, but I couldn't find any coasters from Geauga Lake that fit the car description, though they may have been repainted somewhere on their way to a new home. Are they being moved from one park to another, or from a manufacturer to a park? Anyone know?

They could be from Beaver Land Mine Ride those kind of look like mine train cars. And the roller coaster data base listed it being relocated to a park in france.

Beaverland Mind Ride has been gone out of the country since late June. It isn't that.

Yes,they are based in Cincinnati. |

| Still going the wrong way then... To be leaving from Cincinnati, they wouldn't have any business being on that section of I-70 ... to get to Columbus and all points north or east, you take 71 and to get to Detroit and all points north or west you take 75. These would have been traveling like they were going from Pennsylvania or northeast Ohio towards Indiana. If they'd been headed to Cincy, they'd have changed direction in Columbus.

Unless, there main manufacturing plant is based in PA or Northeast OH. Many coaster companies have a plant aside from their main offices.

| Very true. Is Gravity Group currently building any mine-train coasters somewhere west of Ohio?

I appear to have you all stumped. ![]() It could have been coming from anywhere east of here ... PA, New York, or anywhere on the eastern seaboard, really. And going anywhere west of here - I-70 goes all the way to California.

The only guess I have is Dark Knight cars on their way from New England to Mexico.

Maybe they're actual mine cars from PA coal mines heading for the West Coast gold mines?
