| New Train Design
This isn't a rumour, but i didnt know where else to put it. This is a new design for an "swinging inverted standing" train. This was a design I was thinking about and recently made a simple 3d model. Special features include hydraulic powered programmable or free swinging, ski style foot restraints, and an "open" design. Instead of a floor, there are only the foot restraints, with even space between them, to give a "free" feeling. Like traditional stanging coasters, there are OTSRs, between the leg restraints and side restraints. Unlike conventional inverted coasters, this train rides atop the rail and has armes hanging down. This is designed mainly for high speed turns, such as on a launch coaster, but could be adapted. Not a horrible idea, I'd work on your drawing a bit more though. Or was this actually supposed to be something you found out somewhere else other than your photo bucket account?

If your foot slipped, I'd suppose that would make for a painful ride, right? (For both genders.) What accounts for the incident of some foot-slippage? That is also a lot of stress for the corner of the frame (even if it is re-inforced by that bar). There would be force pushing both in and out depending on the track, right? How close are the riders' heads to the track, it seems face-level. Interesting idea, though! In what program was this drafted?

Moved to the roller coaster forum. I'm not too sure about the idea. Seems like the between leg restraints could be rather painful for the male riders if there was a bit of a bump in the track.
