Does anyone know if trimpers in ocean city is still open?

Im going to ocean city this summer, I wanted to ride the Tidal Wave (Vekoma Boomerang), but i heard it was going to close in 2007. Does anyone from Maryland know if its still open. I hardly get out to amusement parks, so i want to take advantage of any opportunity i have to add coasters to my count. Please reply.

Reading the headlines on Screamscape I knew there were issues but it's still open. If there is anything different it would be posted there. Thanks for capitalizing.

Does this mean that tidal wave is open, RCDB said that it was operating. Tidal wave is the vekoma boomerang. Ive never been on one before. Ive heard SLC's were rough, but is a boomerang rougher than an arrow corkscrew like vortex at ki (that i have been on). It does have arrow trains on it, so it should be similar.

They also have a chance toboggan, it will be rough but i might as well try it.

I want to get on it as well. I would say it's open. I know as much as you do time may be ticking. I don't really like Vekoma Boomerangs but I give them street credit in the beach boardwalks.

James had photos. I'm about to follow suit and take the town by storm in one day. Hopefully this year if I see I can go to HRP.

I guess you missed the part where we named the thread "Does anyone know if Trimpers is still open?"

So when you respond that you went there last summer. It's still open could possibly lead to a misunderstanding on someone's part which is what obviously happened. "It" isn't very descriptive.

Like I said, no, you really didn't answer his question completely.

Hmmm...interesting. Me grow up? Yeah ok, sure buddy. I guess being staff on the site gets you the ability to treat members with disrespect like James does.

Why would I do that? I wasn't the one asking, was I?

The point is: we're older and let's be above that. That's where I back Andrew's guidance. I welcome James back but I'm not looking for shinnenegans. I thought the month to chill was to stay away from that. James, you're a year older I noticed. Can you get a real avatar not a member mocking one?

I have to guess through the lower case and vagueness that the thread is about Trimper's not the boomerang being shut down. Trimper's was being pressed for tax money I believe I read. Generally I knew they were considering if they were still going to exist. I believe I read an owner/founder passed on the last few years so they were dealing with the operational issues. I think by now in this thread raptorpoint got his answer. Hopefully he and I will get those credits down there this year.

First: I agree, why are we fighting again?

Second: I also welcome James back, but do you really have to mock someone on this website with a picture of their avatar. Please!

Third: There could be some good results out of this for James as last time this happened he got to go to WDW!

Please everyone, you are in your 20's/30's!
