This looks like a ride that will be very popular for the fist year but taper off quickly. They should have invested their money better.

The whole park is WAY TOO overly hyped anyway!
This doesnt surprise me that they have hyped this up as much as they would a major coaster!

I think it looks really cool, and I honestly didn't hear much of the hype. That lift must be quite creepy, given it tilts riders about 10 degrees. Do I wish the drop was about 30* steeper? Of course. Does it look like the splash is actually rather lame? Yes. Does that bother me? not really.

The park is not over-hyped. Last visit I spent a total of only thirteen cents on the park. I feel like I should mail them money for the free tickets and such as it was totally awesome.

I live in Indiana, and Holiday World is really close to me. I just figured out actually how many world records they hold. I hope I get to ride it this season, but we might not make it up there.

^ Go, dude! We hoosiers don't have a lot to be proud about and Holiday World is definitely on the top 5 list of things good about Indiana.

Ever notice how people start hating on parks because the parks are really good and do everything we as guests want? Also, I am critical of the "taper off" theory as water rides generally do very well considering their summer opertions. Seriously, the log flumes and other shoot-the-chutes rides always have a line no matter how generic the actual ride is. Being the tallest of the bunch will almost certainly ensure it's status in the canon of great water rides.

This is no longer a construction item.

Everytime I ride a coaster, it valleys. I've never been on a stalled coaster or had one roll back (except Wicked Twister and what was Superman: Ultimate Escape, which does that by design).

yeah bruns: holiday world is the only reason anyone ever comes to Indiana. I'm getting sick of hearing all of this crap that holiday world is over hyped.

-indiana rules-

So you figure that it will be considered a great water ride just because it's tall. I rather have a shorter Chute with a better splash that a tall ride with no splash.

I just have no comprehensin how someone can see Holiday World as overhyped. Especially someone who lives near Dollywood, which essentially owns every record for overhype.
