New Roller Coaster Concept

Hi folks,
I posted on here a few months back (before xmas) enquiring about your views on current roller coaster. I asked for help and to fill out my 13 point questionnaire.

Alot of you sent back replies and for that I am very grateful.

But I would like you to know I have now finished my degree at Coventry University and I have posted my finished animation on Youtube.

Wow. You did a really good job on the animation, but the concept's a little outrageous. There are far too many moving parts on the train itself. And with the seats seemingly moving up and down at random, there's no way to heartline the track. It'd have to be controlled so riders aren't forcefully thrown about.

It's interesting, but I just don't see this happening at all. Not even really beyond a concept.

The animation is great, but I have to agree with Chip.

The ride looks like nothing more than a glorified flying coaster. Flying coasters already have tons of moving parts and can be maintenance nightmares; I can only imagine what this would be like. Also, there seems like there would be some pretty heavy forces acting on the rides, especially in flying position on the outside of a loop.

Looks cool on paper and animation, but that's about it.

I agree with everyone on the design, seems like a flying coaster. But WOW great animation! Awesome detail, points of view, etc! Get a career in animations / modeling!

I really do think it is a great concept. I will admit there were a few parts that I think would need to be tuned up. As far as the brakes at the end, it will be very hard for them to get the train back to the station. I also think you should add maybe two more rows across each car. But I think the animation the way it is will do well. And besides the animated parts where the train is achieving a constant speed somehow the entire ride, the new/unique ride elements you designed are quite impressive!

EDIT: And to the others who have posted here, if flying coasters are such nightmares, then why does it seem to me like every park wants one? Plus, even if they are difficult to maintain, there is always another way around an issue that an engineer can figure out how to fix!
