What was your 1st coaster and how old were you?

Mine was Mini Mine Train at Six Flags Over Texas. I was 9.

I also went on Splash Mountain at WDW when I was 7, but I don't think that counts.

I can't remember what my first coaster was, but I think it was Swamp Fox at Family Kingdom and I think I was between 6 and 8.

^Talk about late bloomer.

My first one was Hoffman's Playland's Roller Coaster when I was three, but I don't remember it. (My mom said I rode it.) The first one I remember was Marine Land's Tivoli Coaster when I was 4.

Current count is 124, and will get to 129 - 131 by the end of the year.

My first roller coaster was Sea Serpent at Morey's Pier in Wildwood, NJ. I was about 13 years old. My aunt dared me to ride it with her and who was I to pass down a dare? lol I was scared to death getting on it, but I was hooked on coasters ever since. I loved it. But 227 coasters later, that Boomerang surely isn't a favorite of mine, but it was the best recruiter at the time!!!

Scooby Zoom at Kings Island when I was 4-5 or so (I actually have a framed picture of that first ride hanging in my hallway, me and my sister riding in the front row. Around the same time I rode Beastie. I was terrified of Beastie but my parents forced me on and thus ruined coasters for me for a few years, I didn't end up being addicted to coasters until I was like 11 or so when I made a trip to Busch Gardens Europe and rode Lochness, Big Bad Wolf, Drachen Fire, and finally Alpie. Ironically enough before enjoying riding coasters I was fascinated by them and owned all the "America's/World's Greatest..." movies and knew plenty about them (manufacturers and record holders, and all that) and dreamed of designing them someday... haha

Mine was a back yard coaster shown in my sig. I believe I was 6. My first real coaster was either the Comet at Hershey or the Jumper at West Point Park later that same summer.

Mine was Jr. Gemini when I was 3. And I've been hooked on coasters ever since. After that first ride on Jr. gemini, I couldn't wait until I was tall enough to ride the "big" coasters, like Iron Dragon and Disaster Transport.

My first coaster was Scooby Doo at King's Dominion when I was six, maybe seven. My second? Big Dipper at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. I didn't get into coasters until I was 20. Funny the way these things work.

I think I was six and it was the Gold Rush at Carowinds. My 8-year-old daughter calls it her favorite coaster in the World...

Mine was either Mini Rock n Roller coaster at Opryland or maybe Goldrusher at Carowinds.

If it was Opryland, then I was 10. Goldrusher would be a few years before.

My parents are of no help, but we have narrowed it down to these coasters: The Beastie at Kings Island, Jr. Gemini or Blue Streak at Cedar Point, or Roller Coaster (I don't think it had a name) at Vollmer's Park. I do know that in 1st and 2nd grades, our year-end field trip was to Vollmer's Park, but I recall going to Geauga Lake, Kings Island, and Cedar Point before I was 6. So I think my first coaster may have been somewhere when I was 5 or 6.

Tennessee Tornado at 11 years old. I thought it was (as still is) an awesome ride. The world should have more coasters that drop through mountains. This ride is absolutely refreshing compared to the flat topography here at SFGAm.
