I really like you site, as it has lots of everything. Showing off the on-ride photos was a good idea, and I really like those.

Wow what a great year its been. I havent added onto this tread as most of my updates have been trip reports or construction photos but over the next few months I will be posting offen to this tread. I currently am in the process of adding on to my exsiting roller coaster photo collection. I recently purchased a negative scanner and will be rescaning all my 2004 and older photos. So over the next couple months I will be updated various pages and will post it up in this tread for those interested. I also will be adding alot of new older photos from various trips over the last 7 years that arent on mysite now..

So here we go with the first of many updates.
The awesome part about taking photos is seeing your name in print.
I have add a new section into my site, Published. Over the last year there have been many magazine and other media that have used my photos. Still have couple more things to add to this page. I have scanned all the pages from various magazines that my photos are in print. I have also been honored with one of my photos being used on the Florida Coaster Clubs new 2006 Tshirts.
So for those that would like to take a look at some of my photos that are in print go here www.johnnyupsidedown.com/publish.html and check back to this tread over the next few months for updates.
Enjoy.

Okay
Another update. I have added a new page in my Events 1999 section. I dug up my old photos of Six Flags Astroworld and added them on to an existing page. Some photos are from 1999 the day of the event and the other 21 photos are from the mid 1990's I think 1997 not sure though. Anyway some photos of Ultra Twister, Cyclone, Viper, XLR8, Excalibur and Serial Thriller and Texas Tornado. Go here to see the photos http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventFST2.html

Another page updated.
Added photos from around 1997 to one of my Six Flags Over Georgia pages. The scanner is working out pretty good for scaning some old negatives. Anyway some new old photos of Cyclone, Viper, Ninja, Mindbender and a couple of the Scorcher that are not scans from negatives. Photos can be seen here http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventSFG.html Wish digital cameras were around back then or at least good quality low priced ones.
Enjoy.

Another updated page to view.
Added 15 more photos to my Cedar Point page from Coaster Mania in 2000. Slowly adding onto mysite of alot of photos that I have but never had the space to put them on my website. Since switching hosts last January I have finally been able to go back and add on to my site after rebuilding the site over the past year. FUN FUN FUN. Anyway lots of new older photos of Cedar Point from 2000 go here http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventCP.html Photos added are some of Raptor, Iron Dragon, Corkscrew, Gemini, Mantis, Wildcat and the MF ones were the only ones on the page before so a nice improvement.
Enjoy.

Hey Chip
I used a film camera up until around February of 2004. So everything from 1999 to February 2004 was a Kodak point and shoot. I allways used 400 speed Gold Kodak film.
In February of 2004 I switched to a HP 735 simple point and shoot Digital 3.1 megpixel. Then in January of 2005 I switched to an HP 850 and this camera is just amazing its the one I use for all my photos. .
So thats it on cameras.

Few more updates to view. Most have seen but figured I would add on to the tread.
Couple of new pages from recent trips and events.
I went to the Everest Sneak a Peak at WDW 1-26-06 http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventWDW1.html .
This last weekend attended the Florida Coaster Club Winter Safari event http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventBGT12.html

And the latest addition to my site is a newspaper article in which I and my website are mentioned along with one of my photos is used all though its a small photo still really cool none the less. Go here and the newspaper article is on the bottom of the page http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/publish.html
In the next few days I will be adding another set of scans from the most recent addition of First Drop a magazine produced by the European Coaster Club in which about 7 of my photos are in publish.
Anyway thats about it as I am still working on my site as I tweak more pages and add more photos. (I may be able to get up to Atlanta for some Goliath photos in the next week or two. maybe.)

Okay
Not much to report for this update. I had some trips planned for this month but somethings fell through. Oh Well.
Anyway
Recent stuff thats new on the site. Most have seen my recent photos from SFOG with the ECC. http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventSFG11.html
Other news. I am officially a writer as I have been published of coarse with more of my photos being published.. The ECC decide to publish a small write up I (with alot of help from an Editor) did about Patriot at WOF and can be found here where all my other published photos and stuff are http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/publish.html .
Or here is the scan of the article http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/publish/ecc25a.jpg

Pretty cool stuff.
Anyway things will be quite for a while as I dont see much activities until some stuff I will be doing in July, August.

Been pretty buisy for a while.
Whats new. The latest is I am redoing my site. I have decided to change the layout for a larger resolusion. Added a new title and some other changes. The site redo will happen over the next several months as I rebuild each page.
Anyway whats new around the site.
In late august I made a trip up to Knoebels in PA for some photos of Flying turns. http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventKB.html and my construction photos can be seen here http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/new2007ft.html
In september I hit Cedar Point and Geuaga Lake for an event with the Great Ohio Coaster Club. http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventCP2.html and here http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventGL.html
Also had a little time for a short trip over to Kennywood for a few rides on Phantoms Revenge. http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventKW.html
And while at Cedar Point I did a bunch of photos of Maverick construction http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/new2007mv.html
Lets see what else is new around the site. I also had the oppertunity to attend the Last to Ride at Myrtle Beach Pavilion http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventMB.html
And a short trip to Family Kingdom also in Myrtle Beach http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventMB1.html
So lots of new stuff since my last update.

Look for some Griffon photos this weekend and maybe some Mystry Mine photos in November.

Lets see what have we been up to since my last update.
Well the site upgrade is done. Along with a larger resolution and new graphics I added lots of older photos to my collection, there are to many to list but alot of pages received extra photos. Still have some stuff to add to some of the older pages but pretty much the site will stay as it is.
Lets start with Griffon construction photos from October and from lat December which can be seen here http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/new2007gf.html
Next up I attended an event with ACE at Paramounts Kings Dominion. Fun event, not very crowded and got some photos they are here http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventPKD1.html
Then of course we rounded out the year on a sad not with this page http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventBGT13.html
Lets see another addition to the site is the Starliner section which will be where my collection of reconstruction photos will be and can be seen here http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/starliner.html

I also have one other thing to add. As most have figured I do alot of photography. Over the years I have gained a large collection of photos of other stuff not related to Amusemnt Parks. Trough out the 1990's I shot alot of film of nature related stuff. Anyway go here http://www.johnnyupsidedown.net/ I have only a small amount of stuff in the new site but give it some time I have about 1000 photos to pick through and scan. Plus I will have some new stuff as in new trips this year.
Thats about it for now. Things in the near future, I will be doing some photos of the coaster at Kemah Boardwalk at the end of the month and will have some photos of BGT in February hopefully of the freshly painted Montu if its getting it paint job this year,..

Too bad there aren't any recent pictures of Griffon. I really want to see the progress of it.

I'm glad I rode Python. It was an OK ride, but I always feel special when a ride I've ridden is being removed for good.

Lets see what is new around my site.
Over the last few weeks I have been following the reconstruction of the Starliner at Cypress Gardens, which has been a real cool experience being able to watch as they build a coaster. Photos are here http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/starliner.html
Next up I went up to Dollywood for the EBAY auction and lots of photos of the Mystery Mine. Great ride and cool to meet Dolly, http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventDLW1.html
Then last week was invited out for the unveiling of the first Sheikra train which was pretty cool, http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventBGT15.html
Now for the last thing, sorry but I have to brag a bit here.
Finally found the latest copy of a book that well I will let you see for yourself. Look at the back cover, looks alot like this http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/sheikra/sh421a.jpg
Its pretty cool, I think there is also a photo inside but havnt got my copy yet.
