Canobie Fan !

Yeah.. so I have a little Canobie Lake Park fan site going on...
Its been open for over a year and 'we' have had a forum starting in May. Last week the new chat room opened. Also the new layout just "open" last night. Right now a few pages still need to be changed overf and are missing and also Wipeout, Castaway Island, and the Pool still have to be added in the next day or to..

so yeah go over to CanobieFan now and look around.

I saw it before it was redesigned, and this version is actually nice :).

I was just looking at it yestersay, and it's got a nice collection of photos, and gives some nice history about the rides and park itself. It's a nice site, and it makes the park look good.

I never saw the old one, but this one is nice. The layout is easy to navigate, and boy do you have a nack for taking pictures and handeling a camera.

Looks nice. But I have one question...where are the pictures of Borg at?

I mean come on, you need a real coaster on there lol

Looks like a nice park. What a great collection of flats! What a concept!

FYI, there is now an unofficial search function for the CanobieFan.com forums (for just the Canobie-related categories). Information about it is posted in the "Site Suggestions" forum category.

The forum came with its own "official" search function, but it has always been disabled by the company hosting the forum for performance reasons. I spent a good portion of a long weekend installing third-party search engine software (Swish-e), indexing the forum, and getting the search web page working. It was quite a bit of work, and I'm pretty proud of it.

So, now you can perform searches for Canobie-related info including "Zoom" (the PBS kids show shot their upcoming season's opening credits at Canobie), "Wipeout" (about their new Chance Wipeout which opened unofficially for two days last season and will open officially next season), and "vomit" (an amusing anecdote from a Yankee Cannonball ride operator).

I have a question...

How did you build your main page? What program I mean...

I like the links on the left like that.

My site needs an overhaul and I haven't done anything to it in a long time.

Hey James
Lance can take that off Screamscape if you like (just email him) otherwise you have to be careful sometimes when you post stuff on Screamscape as your site will get hit pretty good. At least thats what I noticed when Lance would pop mysite up on Screamscape that it would get a lot of action.

How much bandwidth per month are you allowed to use on your site?
Have you wanted to redo the website yourself so that you make it or are you happy with you and the other person building the site?

Just wondering because I use a simple web builder thats easy to use and you dont have to really know anything about html code. Could give you a few tips if needed.
J.
