Looks like your web site is coming along nicely.
I know you are planning to add the smaller parks later, but I just wanted to plug Adventureland in Altoona, IA - Silver Dollar City - Celebration City in Branson, MO. :)

We have just added a chat room to the site, it can be found on the main page under chat. We prefer to have you register as a forum member first then use that name to register in the chat section. We will be using it to discuss outings and park events!!

Thanks for the compliment. I hear ya on the mac stuff.. Im actually having it where you email the file and info to my site email and I post the link and file and description, so there would be no uploading involved for you except sending the email. There would be too much database build right now to have the users upload their own files and creations, so im going to manage that myself until the site gets larger. But check it out, and put your info in the forums if you have questions!
Enjoy!

Coaster Traxx is complete and we are ready to start accepting creations to put up on the site. All we ask is that you become a forum member before submitting your creation!

We have just released version 2.0 of the site.. a total makeover. We felt we needed to step things up a bit and this proves to be where we would like it. Most of the site is live, there are still a few pages that are in active and have bugs and we are working on that. We plan to have the site completely updated by the end of next week. Enjoy!

Weve gone up to the PHPBB forums today. We switched from SMF due to lack of support. Unfortunately, we had to take the forums from where they originally left off on the old switch over in July so we lost everything from July until today.. Check them out and let us know what you think.

Nick, nice site. I like the colors, layout and easy navigation. The font you used is cool, but I had a hard time in reading some items. Not sure I like the graphic letters you used for the logo. They seemed a bit juvenile for the sophisticated look you have going. But overall, everything is well organized. Just curious did you use an editor to build the site or just notepad?

I may submit a link exchange to my site if you are interested.

Keep up the good hard work.

Lisa

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. The whole site aside from the gallery pictures is done in flash. To me its easy to use, most people have told me they have a hard time with it, but it make it easy to move things where you want them. The fonts are a little different because I use a mac to design the whole site. The main font you see is called Bank Gothic on the mac. It just looked clean and sharp to me. As for exchanging links, Id be glad to list you. Even though I am a midwest site, I have no problems learning about other parks around the U.S.

You may need Quicktime 7. I have a link for it on the site to get it. I made some of the videos in the new h264 format which has better quality.

Just a few updates on the site. We have updated and cleaned up our links section, organized the parks section and added a new feature on the main page where you can go and get live weather and travel information for any midwest park you are visiting. Enjoy!
