The Point Online

The Point Online is a Cedar Point fan site in which I took control of in December of 2004 after it was sold.

We provide information on everything about Cedar Point: news, rumors, forums, strategy guides, discount tickets, downloads, crowd expectations, travel information, editorials, and more!

One of our most popular sections is our editorials; Point Press, A Day at the Fair, From The Editor's Desk, Rumors of the Road, and Mike's Message. All of which have their own speciality and offer a different opinion on many different topics.

Everything can be accessed from www.thepointol.com

This looks like a well-established site, with a lot of good information and original content. I especially like the fact that there are photos of every food and beverage concession.

I agree, its a great site to check out for information on cedar point and to plan your trips. Probably one of the best CP sites out there.

Too bad your photo of the week for this week sucks :P
I actually do like your site, one of the best out of the, what, 594 Cedar Point sites?

Wow, great pics and a CP site with good photos no pop ups?! Very cool, and welcome to TN.

Glad to see the site is still going.

Not thats it's a huge deal but the main page or the site itself could use a face lift. A new layout would be cool.

Yea, an upgrade to dynamic from static would be nice, and a new design would be nice, but I dont think most people care anyway.

Thanks for all the comments. We actually just launched this version of the site in February, but I don't like it. I took control in December after a private investor bought the site and put me incharge and this layout was already semi-completed, so I just used it. Hopefully towards the end of the season I will have something new to look at, as right now I'm focused on transfering the site to a new server (with unlimited bandwidth) within the next few weeks.

As for the photos, only more will come once the summer gets going. If the Photo Editor and myself are together for a day at the park, we can take around 700+ photos, most of which will appear on the site, so look for at least two or three photos of each eatery and shop, plus tons for all the rides.

Thats good to hear Mike. I like V4, but if you've got something better coming for us, well now I've got something else to look forward to.
