I love playing the Underdog. I remember when I picked Pittsburgh in what 1995 in the Rose Bowl Super Bowl against Dallas. I wanted them that year. I don't have enough respect for young Arizona. I pick Pittsburgh --- Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: Defense wins Championships.

I'll (Heinz) ketchup with you guys later.

Go Steelers. With a lot more experience in the Super Bowl and post season, I think the Steelers will take it. Will be interesting since Wisenhunt used to be a Steeler coach.

Good Luck Steelers. Kick some cardinal ass. :-P

Arizona will not win but i'll be cheering for them anyway. That is if i can even stay awake for the game. It looks pretty boring.

I honestly can't cheer for Pittsburgh. I hate them that much but they will win this game 35-10.

^Seeing as how the game will probably start at 6pm, I'm guessing you are going to bed early?

Oh yeah, Go Steelers. This ought to piss off the Browns fans I WORK WITH.

Duh Every sporting event NOT featuring a Carolina team is a snore fest.

^ Oh, you mean every championship, then?

Cardinals win 20-17. Warner gets another one, and Edge gets his second Super Bowl ring the right way.

Well, you finally learned how to spell the word "boring" unlike last year; I'm impressed -- good for you!

But just one thing....let me remind you that you said the exact same thing last year, and what happened after the game? You ended up saying it was one of the best Super Bowls you've seen.

Just goes to show you that you will never know what is going to happen unless you watch the game. You never know, this might be another good one again this year.

Yes. I was riding Haunted Mansion and the head in the ball said Pittsburgh by 25. Close enough to a Psychic i guess.

Give me some time. I just passed the 5th grade. I do believe i spelled it right at some point in 2008 but i don't feel like looking it up.

Thats how i like it. If i say it will be boring chances are it might be good and i'm not let down.

It's just my opinion that i don't think this one will be good. If Pittsburgh wins it was ok. If Arizona wins it was a little better than ok.

Truth is the NY/NE game was not all that good. I just really hate NE so i was more happy to see them go down. Besides not many people remeber anything about that game besides the amazing catch by the Giants player.

Anyway back on topic and back in 2009.

Let's just say if the Cards win i won't go to a theme park at all in 2009.

We will hold you to that, and if we find out you went in the event of a Cards win, you're permabanned (with no chance of appeal) ok?

I screwed up in the NFC, but my AFC predictions from the Wild Card games to the Conference Championship were perfect.

I'd live to see the Cards win this game, but the Steelers defense is too good. Fitzgerald is going to be double covered the entire game. I'll make a prediction in a couple days.

I noticed after I made that call for Pittsburgh our little RED Beta fish died yesterday so I think that's better than a crystal ball. hahaha

I just know on QVC their heart isn't truly into selling Steelers things. They're just 20 miles outside of Philly and they had the Phillies players in person in a heartbeat in studio when they won.

All I am saying is watch the game and don't jump to conclusions. Predictions are ok, but just don't make bold statements like you just did.

I really think Arizona has to feel pretty good about the Super Bowl. They have nothing to lose, very few people outside the Cardinals fan base is going to expect anything from them, so they are going to come out with no pressure on them. They came off playing three very good opponents so they have what it takes to win. Honestly, I can see either team coming out of this carrying the Vince Lombardi Trophy. The chances of Pittsburgh winning looks greater, but as history shows, never count out the underdog and anything is possible.

Larry Fitzgerald was on a Philly fan dream list before this season. I remember Christmas Eve disappointment the Cards brought the Birds two years ago. It's going to be a long two weeks like it always is.

If the Cards win can I somewhat parallel it with San Francisco in NFC West to make it feel better? I became a NFL fan when Phoenix was still in the NFC East.

I think Arizona will win. If Ben Roethlisberget makes any big mistakes, I think the Cardinal offense will be able to take advantage. I'm just not that impressed with Pittsburgh and don't think they will win. I certainly don't want them to win as I don't like them. And I really like Kurt Warner and would like to see him get a second ring.

Arizona, becuase it will be in the 70-80s. Pittsburgh gets 100's a few days a Year. Phoenix Gets 110's for Weeks. Plus Most of the Fans will be Pittsburghs, which will make Phoenix Work Harder.

Pittsburgh does get very hot in the summer time. Granted not over 100 more then 4-5 days, however there were many days each summer that it was over 90 plus degrees plus humidity. Weather really isn't a factor in this case.

That Game was played in Arizona. I also recall saying Neil ********** O'Donnell alot after that game.

As for Carowinds, I honestly find it hard to for you to hate the " Burgh as some of your best players and your first head coach came from there.

Arizona all the way. I think people are sleeping on them, but stats do not lie. Kurt is a MUCH more accurate QB than Ben and he takes a lot less sacks. Arizona has more receiving weapons than Pittsburgh. They may lack a running game, but it has been improving some in the playoffs. Ben will get sacked at least 3 times. It will be a nail biter, but Arizona is going to pull it off.

I am routing for the Cardinals just for the fact that they are the underdogs here for sure, and i like to see them win something. Though they will have a hard time with Pitts D-Fence. They did play well against Philly, but we will see if they can hold Pittsburgh like they have the last few teams they played.

If Arizona plays anything like they did against Philly, they will not win. You cannot expect to have a huge lead, give it up, only to rally for the win against one of the better defenses in the AFC.

GAmFanboy...you cite the weather as a reason the Cardinals will win. Really? Last year, the Giants beat the Patriots, two cold-weather teams. The previous year, Colts and Bears (again cold), Super Bowl 40 (Steelers/Seahawks) two more cold teams, Super Bowl 39 (Pats/Eagles) two cold teams, Super Bowl 38 (Pats/Panthers) two chilly teams.

You need to go back to Super Bowl 37 to see two warm weather teams play and one of them win. Weather will not be a factor.

Cold weather teams play fine in warm weather. It's the other way around that sometimes doesn't work.

But Andrew, I must take exception to the Colts being a cold weather team- their home games are indoors, and have been ever since they've been in Indy. They're a warm weather team in a cold weather city.

I don't think I've ever heard so much conversation about weather for a game when the weather will likely be warm. Of course there's no telling about rain but I'm sure the temperature will be nice.

Yeah, I think all this weather hoopla can be thrown out the door. It will not be a factor in winning this game at all. You can throw all the statistics in the world out there and it still won't mean anything. Shoot, Eli Manning alone last year proved weather did not mean anything when the Giants beat the Packers at Lambeau in sub zero temperatures. This game will come down to defense and the QB. Neither team has an outstanding running game, so you need to rely on the throw. And well all those Steelers fans want to think this will be an easy win, but bottom line Warner is a MUCH better and more accurate QB than Roethlisberger, especially under pressure. Nows those are stats you can look at and see are true.

True andrew, they could of done a lot better, just came down to that Arizona was able to hold them off in the end. It will be a harder task indeed when it comes to the SB.

AZ will come out early with a lead, but the Steelers will without a doubt finish strong and take a 12+ point win.

I like Jay Leno's "Biggest collection of senior citizens" joke about people from Arizona coming to Florida for the Super Bowl.

Two Arizona fans burned with diesel fuel Pro Cardinals messages on Donovan McNabb's lawn at his Arizona house. They were arrested and charged.

I fixed the title... true fans know it's "Super Bowl" and not "Superbowl".

I saw on the news it was Media Day. I guess I didn't really care beyond seeing Hines Ward say a blip. It didn't involve my team. I didn't see anything about the Cardinals.

A fellow EAGLES fan I know going to school in Pittsburgh says he can't stand how kind the media is to Big Ben, etc... They're just not as cruel as the Philly writers he's eluding to. I guess the B listers of media have to go somewhere.
