Anyone interested this year?

I'll use last year's specs for this year. Also, what day of the week is best for a draft (whether you want to join or not)? Sunday evenings are my first choice.

Also, answer the poll, who will be interested in College Football Pick-Em and Pro Football Pick-Em.

Wow, I completely missed this thread, and apparently so did everyone else. I was actually going start a league, and then checked and saw this here. Come on people, let's make this happen! Maybe this year's free StatTracker will entice some to partake?

Actually with a baseball league, I did open a football league already, but I can do two leagues in football. Just let's get the details if you have already opened one up...

If need be, I could alter the settings to match the other one, or relaunch the other one since it gives me that option as well from last year...but since it was not quite right to my memory, I only mention it as a fact.

^Why don't you do that...relaunch the one from last year.

I was in error. While I have opened a league this year, I was not responsible for the league last year, that was 89Magnum. Evidently I attempted it two years ago...where has all the time gone? I have sent a reminder to 89Magnum...but it is not in my hands. The one thing I can say, aside from a few options (nothing affecting scoring), I set my league up (the one that was already set up) using the same settings otherwise as the TN league from last year. But let me know if you want to jump in there as well if Magnum does not renew it or what not.

I restarted the league from last year. Thanks for the reminder. I would have started it earlier, but their didn't seem to be a whole lot of interest. Anyway, here it is...

You can count me in for FF and both pick'ems. I love fantasy sports but oddly enough never get many chances to participate. But like CoasterDJ mentioned, we need ID number.

Both pick em leagues are set up very similar. They are both using the spread. And like in year's past for the NFL, I am dropping the lowest week.

However, I know we all get busy and forget to make a pick or two, but I'm putting this in the open now: Anyone that misses 4 consecutive weeks will be removed from the league.

And if there's a way to advertise this on facebook, do so. I've put up this signup @ West Coaster and Geauga Lake Today.

I signed up as Scotty's Slammers in Fantasy Football. The only problem is when I click to change the time zone it asks for my Yahoo password, once I enter it it takes me to a page were it says something like "Enter and Edit information in the spaces provided, select Finished when your done" and has two selections, Finished and Cancel. the only thing is theres nothing else there other than that box, no place to enter or edit info. Whether I click Finish or Cnacel, it takes me back to the creat team page were I have to do it all over again, like a big circle without achieving anything. Anyone else have this problem?

Hmm,I didn't have that problem. Sounds odd. Why did you need to change the timezone anyway? Mine started at EST.

The draft is currently Sunday Aug 16 at 7:00 pm, but it can always be changed.

Sorry, been VERY busy lately...especially with inventory coming up on Monday. But I am trying to get in there now. At least that is the full fantasy football. I have never done well with pick'ems.

Any other takers? We're still at 5.

So, if no one else joins should we continue with only 5, or publish the league to fill the remaining 3 spots? I think I'll move the draft back as well.

I'll give a bump for the pickem leagues too. Only 4 so far in the NFL Pickem? And 3 in the college pickem? Let's get on it. We generally have around 10-15 for each.

So, should I keep the draft for this weekend and go with 6 (if no one else signs up), or should I move it back one week and give people more time?

Sweet! I don't know what the problem of Buckeye fans are, they can dish the crap out, but when you call on them for their expertise, they scatter. This will probably be the last year I run both Pick-Ems as I'm seeing dwindling participation.

As far as the pickems are run, I've had one complaint, and it's by a part time member. This member seems to think a fairer option of making picks 5 minutes before each kickoff (college pickem only) is fairer than 5 minutes before the first game kicks off.

Does anyone have any suggestions or comments? I will listen to all and take everything into consideration next year.

I have not said anything when it comes to it. But i agree on what you say though. Some just act tough when they are soo good, then when they lose just cry about it. I have no prob with the system so far. Keep it how it is.
