NASCAR Sprint Cup: Life Lock.com 400 at Chicagoland

This thread's a little late, but Mark Martin wins in Chicago. This makes four for Martin, the most wins this season so far for one driver.

Who would have thought that mark would have the most wins this season. I mean come on a 50 year old is beating 19 year olds all I can say is wow I am going out on a lim here and saying Mark Martin has the 2009 champion of the cup series, would that be cool or what.

Now Dale Jr. on the other hand if he wsins one race I will be happy. He did have some what of a good run just did not finish it. I think thats what he need to work on next.

Also tony has a posible contender for the cup that would also be nice to see.

Note: sorry for the long post but I am really happy for mark.

I honestly feel like anyone in the chase after Richmond has a shot at the championship this year. No one is proving themselves to be so consistent and able to win almost every week that it seems like its in the bag for anyone when normally in the past couple years we had a good idea of 2-3 teams that would be the winner at the end because they were just that good. Johnson and his team are off this year. They aren't winning the pole and they aren't getting that first pit stall, and its costing them wins, so I'm not sure they have a 4th in a row in them right now. It really is up in the air at this point, though.

An interesting stat to chew on, if Stewart has been leading in points in a season he has gone on to win the championship.

^ What an odd situation that martin has won the most but currently on the outside looking in.

^ Not really because in the beginning he had really bad luck and was not finishing well.

So he really started near the bottom of the points standing before he stated to win.

He ( mark Martin) is actually in the top 12 right now in 11th, but just 13 points up, so we will see.
( the standings haven't been updated since Daytona) I want to see Tony keep doing good, would be very nice to see an owner diver win again.
