NCAA football Week 3
Last week saw some great games, and this season is shaping up to be wild for ranked teams. Ohio State loses to USC in the last couple of minutes; unranked Michigan topped ranked Notre Dame; No. 5 Oklahoma State lost to unranked Houston by 10; and Georgia squeaked by South Carolina. In games we expected, Florida beat Troy by 50; Texas put away Wyoming; Oklahoma shut out Idaho State; and Boise State proves itself () by shutting out Miami, Ohio.

But that was last week.

This week, we've got No. 10 Boise State and Fresno State; Cal and Minnesota; Georgia Tech and Miami; Utah and Oregon (who didn't punch anyone last week); No. 13 Virginia Tech and No. 19 Nebraska; BYU and Florida State; and sorta-rivals Texas Tech and Texas in a game that hopefully rivals last year's exciting one.

Osu better not go into this game like its a joke, or they will have the same outcome like last saturday had been. I am not taking this one lightly what so ever. It will be in clevealnd on saturday. I might go out there if i get the time away from the family get together. Michigan looks like they should roll past E. Michigan. I like to see the Florida/ Tenn game.

This week is going to be brutal. If we could get all of the Florida DB's to wear orange jerseys, we might have a chance, since Crompton throws to people wearing jerseys in any color EXCEPT orange.

Good time to be a college football fan in Ohio tomorrow. Toledo is the designated home team against Ohio State in Cleveland as they kick off at noon. 3.5 hours later, Indiana invades Akron's new stadium, and at 7pm, Big 12 foe, Iowa State invades Kent. I plan on getting to the Kent game. My mother is making her second Ohio State game of the year.

And reading through the message boards on Yahoo, seems the USC marching band rubbed some slat in the Ohio State wound after Saturday night's game by playing....The Victors!

Poor Temple, technically the closest program to me, the Philadelphia representative, is going to Penn State today. That's win/win for me having both interests against each other but I know Temple will most likely lose. At least I will have this on local radio. : ) I don't have Big Ten Network. My free credit card booth PSU shirt is gone/destroyed/POS. Maybe I'll pick up a long sleeved shirt at Kohl's.

Texas/Texas Tech? Yawn! I'll probably end up watching it though it won't be as exciting as last week's game of the week was.

Man...31-0, OSU over Toledo in the 3rd. In the pick-em league, my brother, sister and brother-in-law (all tOSU grads) picked Toledo, as did I, but for a different reason. I think we all thought Toledo would put up a fight. I was hoping Toledo would beat tOSU. Oh well.

That was a preaty good game overall. The two pics could of been avoided but Pryor made two mistakes there. When don't you want someone to beat up us lol. Don't worry we took care of them for you this year.

Yeah i was just going to post something about it. IF only we wouldn't of made any stupid plays in our game. LOL. Oh well. I dont see Texas going down again tonight. Then again anything is possible.

I was highly impressed with Tennessee's defense, holding Florida to two touchdowns, and making Tebow have a "Crompton moment" by throwing a pick-6. Mind you, I expected to see a interception for a touchdown in the game, I just didn't expect it to be Tebow that threw it.

But, it sucks only having half a team- gotta get some offense for next year.

What? Boise State is ranked 8? What?

Look at their schedule...aside from Oregon, they play NO ranked teams.

Penn State hosts Iowa. Finally the test has arrived. I recall how hard it's been vs. Iowa in the past, even that game I've been to going into OT. :/

The RUT won and the White Out looks good right now. "WE ARE....PENN STATE!"

Well, Chuck still sucks at coaching. They were lucky to pull that one out of their ass. They should have won fairly convincingly, but they allowed Purdue to stay in the game. Crist has an arm, USE IT.

Temple sure took it to Buffalo yesterday. Kent State managed to win one. Michigan came from behind to win again...4-0 baby! And to finish it off, the Vols upended THE OHIO University.

Iowa has our number once again. I've watched three of these games Iowa-PSU. Dad was right that Penn State looked sloppy the last few weeks before this real game came up.
