| NFL '09 Week 5 10/11/09
The Who Dey's did it again. Cincinnati beat the Ravens in Baltimore. The Steelers beat Detroit. The Browns actually won by a baseball score over the Bills. Philadelphia hosted Tampa Bay today and took this brownie game by a delightful score of 33-14. Jeremiah Trotter, the Axman, returned to the EAGLES. It stole the spotlight from Donovan McNabb returning. He has been under the radar this season. Rookie Jeremy Maclin had 2 TD receptions. The one I saw with two defenders into the endzone looked soo sweet. We're off to Oakland next. The Giants beat the Raiders today and they should finally play their first real game of the season next week against the Saints. Thanks Panthers for beating the Redskins. I'm not sure why Dallas was celebrating like they won something big? The Broncos beat the Patriots in OT. Impressive.

I was listening to the Browns as I tried to head off into Dream land...what a boring game. Just not boring enough to put me to sleep.

Only 3 field goals between the 2 teams - Shoot me. I remember those kind of games.

Thank god they had the cinci vs balt game on instead. They might of gotten a win, but really did not prove to much. They will be going home crying next weekend.

Ugh. The Redskins may as well give up. They can't do anything right against 4 of the worst teams in the league, and after next week against KC, they may as well be cattle headed to the slaughterhouse. This season will be ugly. They probably won't even get a good pick out of it either.

I am kind of curious, would any one of you have cared if Rush Limbaugh owned your favorite team?

^No. Nor would I care if Keith Olbermann did. They're both equally insane, just in opposite directions.

The thing is, Rush is looking to be a minority owner, kinda like how Usher is a minority owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers. He's not going to be a majority owner, he just wants in on ownership a little, as he's a big fan. Its like saying you don't like a city because someone (you don't like) is from there.

I want an owner who will hire good management that will find and develop talent on the field... and stop trading down.

I've given Rush a chance over the years after my Democrat uncle has regularly listened to Rush faithfully. I've basically overlooked his controversy, especially that supposed one involving Donovan McNabb, who I much appreciate. I think Rush should put the money into the team and get a piece of the pie if he wants to pursue it. Oh well: I heard he was excluded from the group to gain ownership of the Rams.
