| Who Am I?
Well hopefully this short introduction will answer just that, as I'm going to give a brief little description of who I am. --- I'm currently 18 and go to Lafayette College for mechanical engineering (and yes, the school is only 20 minutes from Dorney ). I'm a swimmer, and have been for all of my life. My enthusiasm for coasters really didn't begin until the building of TTD, which has got to put me as one of the 'youngest (time wise)' enthusiast around here. I distinctly remember closely watching the building of TTD and wanting to go to CP so badly the following year. I had wanted to go to CP before, but not with the desire that I had after watching TTD being built. I must say, and not without upsetting anyone, my actual 'home' (distance-wise) park is SFA - which doesn't exactly provide the best overall experience. My location, however, does provide me with some great opportunities (but not being an enthusiast before recently, I hadn't really taken up on any of them). I live just north of Baltimore, putting SFA, SFGrAdv, DP, HP, BGW, and PDK within a (some are a bit long but doable nonetheless) daily driving distance. So before going to CP that first time, I had only really been to PDK once and SFA a few times (of course I had been to Disney and SeaWorld, but I was less than 10 both times). So, as you may expect, seeing CP that first time blew me away. That first visit was during the first summer that TTD was open, so of course it was closed, but I did get front-of-the-line passes and took up the opportunity and returned in September. Ever since (basically last year and this) my family has rented a condo in Port Clinton and we have stayed for a week. Since that first CP trip I have been to HP again, IOA and BGW. That's pretty much the rough summary of my coaster life, and believe it or not I do have other interests. Being a swimmer, I love doing water sports (skiing, kneeboarding, tubing, jet ski's etc). I also have a huge interest in aviation....which would be the reason that I am working at the airport this summer . I guess that 'brief' description wasn't so brief after all. If anyone happens to have any questions about me, just ask! --- -Brian |

Heh, quite honestly I'm not sure. It's actually all my grandparents (wait, let me explain! haha). They own a lake house in NC with all of the stuff (boat, jet ski, skis, etc...) so I don't pay all that much attention. And I dont get to go out as much as I'd like to (it's only about 4 hours away though). I haven't done a whole ton of tricks/fancy stuff either. I've done small things like standing on the board and doing 360's but nothing major.

ahh, ok. Sounds fun anyways. I can rotate and barrel roll and jump the wake and stuff but standing on the board...thats more difficult.

I moved this over to TN Town square. I don't think we had this back in 2003 when you registered. Anyhow, Brian, you're like me, you became an enthusiast during a record breaking coaster construction. I became on during Millennium Force's construction, but I am happy to say I am no longer an enthusiast.

Well I just became a mod so I guess I don't really have an exuse for the misplacement of the thread, although Steven suggested that I put it there. Then again, I'm sure it was my misunderstanding I guess you may not exactly call me an enthusiast (as I'm not sure where the line is between someone who takes stong interest and enthusiast) but I'm more of someone with a deep interest (if that's any different than an enthusiast!)...And thanks for the welcomes! |

Haha. No matter how long Montu Man is here, he'll still be a n00b. Right now he's feeling some, "Teenage angst" (oh man, I hate my life, I'm so rich but it sucks, let me go listen to some Linkin Park man, angst, uhhhh) and is rebelling against TN by calling a mod a n00b. Anyway, Brain, welcome to TN moderatorness. CedarPoint_Mark not a coaster enthusiast? Bah, yeah right.
