I post on a couple other forums and decided to join here. Is there anything I need to know to survive?

I can give you a few tips...

1. Try not to be so skeptical all the time, this, pertaining to discussions and what not.
2. Spell out words correctly and fully, use proper grammar.
3. Don't double post. (Submitting a post right after another one in the same thread)
4. Try not to spam (posting very short or erroneous crap that has nothing to do with the topic at hand - but differentiate that from the occasional "swaying off topic")

Or just read and review the Terms of Service and you'll be okay.

But otherwise, you'll find that Thrillnetwork is a great place to be and discuss your hobby. Everyone here is usually very friendly and welcoming, and tend to be not as judgemental or biast like other online coaster enthusiast communities.

And staff members like Moderators and Editors or Administrators are all more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Sure, there seem to be a great number of rules for a fun site...but it's worth it.

Wehave had to make netiquette part of the rules on here because people seem to forget them, and not everyone is familiar with Internet shorthand (or when people post as if they were doing text messaging on their cell phones), or when people just seem to not pay attention to proper spelling and grammar. We don't mind an error here or there, but when it's full of errors to the point where it becomes extremely hard to read, then it needs to be resolved.

If your other posts continue to be like your first one, tubaman, you'll be fine in this department.

Everytime I ride a coaster, it valleys. I've never been on a stalled coaster or had one roll back (except Wicked Twister and what was Superman: Ultimate Escape, which does that by design).
