So I've been wondering about a lot of former posters and was just curious if any of you that knew them more on a personal basis knew what they were up to these days.

This however is NOT a place to rant and attack the staff if the person was banned. If that happens it will be reported (spoken as a true staff member ).

Here's the few I'd like to know about. Post your own as well...

Kraken- anyone know how he's doing? Did he move out from New Orleans after the hurricane?

General Public- more curious than anything.

Leeloo- What in the world happened to her?

General Public is still doing the train stuff. He seemed pretty pleased with how things were going when I last talked to him a few months ago. I'm sure others probably have more information on them though.

HOLY CRAP IT'S BIMMER!!!!

Um yeah... someone that I know who still posts here sent me this. Basically I got bored of TN because all the coaster discussion eventually got to be the same thing over and over. I used to check the General Talk forum regularly, but then I changed my homepage, so I'm rarely over here anymore. Anywho... where am I now?

Still hanging out in Marietta, north of the ATL. I'm a senior in high school and going to GA Tech next year. I've been spending most of my online time on Car & Driver forums since there's a hell of a lot more to know about cars than there ever will be about coasters (don't worry I still love riding coasters and all... w00t w00t for Golaith... only a week and a half... unless they changed opening day). Um anyway I'm majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Tech and who knows... maybe I'll end up designing the coasters you ride or the cars you drive.

EDIT: I'm still 32nd on the top posters list. Not bad considering how long it's been since I've posted regularly.

I'm also wondering if Franchise ever finally broke up with his "girlfriend" or if he's ever had one?

And Skye has been rarely posting ever since Kraken became history about a year ago. There is something about those two that makes me think they're mocking each other, especially in political discussions, was doctorined.

And had SFN not collapsed, I too would probably have been in this discussion mix.

I speak to Magnum Robert often. He's exactly how we left him, or he left us, depending on your perspective. He's still carrying on his crusade against former TN member, Coastermatt.

Phil covered GP as much as I know. There's also an interesting story about him breaking up with his GF. I'm not sure if I should get into it here, but it doesn't dissapoint. Also, he seems to make a pretty buck at his job. We didn't get into specific dollar amounts, but I believe it's union, so he probably makes more than me; so I wouldn't want to know anyway.

Leeloo IM's me occasionally, mostly to ask about my daughter. Her personal life is probably boring, so I really don't ask.

The last time I spoke to Kraken was about 6 months ago. I think I was telling him about something stupid that somebody posted here. He liked my signature, and my old avatar (his avatar mega-sized). Kraken is the type of guy who doesn't get into his personal life much, so there was no update.

Update - just talked to Kraken, he's still in N.O. and still wishes to make everyone aware that he is still the god of the forums. Also, he caught a looter trying to steal the moon. Once Kraken reminded the looter that it was fake, he gave up trying to steal it.

Oh for crying out loud, you are such a Bull*********!! Be honest! The last time I talked to you was "before" I had the problem with my account. If somebody is talking to you under the name of Leeloo, it's sure as hell isn't "THE" leeloo! And if I had talked to you, you would have never have said my life is boring!!

The last person I talked to on IM from TN was Robert and I haven't talked to him for quite some time. I did get an email from him telling me his father passed away and I relplied.

Yes, I wasn't on for a time becase of "site" problems, but only I had the problem. I honestly believe somebody actually didn't want me to continue on the site and screwed up my account on purpous. And it should not have taken as long as it did to correct it. And I should not have to return here with no avatar and no posts! If those here actually wanted me to return, they would have fixed all of that!


So, to all of you, I'm alive and having a wonderful life beyond TN!! I'm afraid to return here, I honestly believe those in charge hate me and don't want me to return, therefore I won't.

Wonder who will actually get to see this post, before it's deleted. LOL!!!!!!

Anyway guys, haven't talked to you for so long, but just don't think I was wanted here anymore. And seriously, I've been reading some of the post and such on here, I just don't see a lot of down-right fun times going on here. It's really getting as boring as that other coaster site you all hate. That's really what I see now at this site.

I haven't disappeared per se, but I sure make a lot less posts here than I did late CF/early TN. A couple reasons. I no longer play RCT, and college is definitely more time consuming than high school. Most of the people I knew from here don't post anymore, and those that do I don't especially like.

Yeah, I go to W&M, but a job on the side? You must be crazy. I'm taking 17 credits this semester (4 of those are Organic Chemistry/Lab) and I have very little time to myself, and I can't imagine how overextended I'd be if I threw a job into the mix. To be honest, I've only been to BGW once since I've been here this year, but I'm sure I'll go again sometime in the next few weeks. I was going to go this weekend actually, but we opted to go to the Outer Banks instead---is that close to you? I've never been, but I guess we're going to Duck.

I wouldn't say I'm "back" per se, but I'll say that for those few that give a crap, I still check out the site from time to time. My interests have changed over the years and the vast majority of people that I talked to through this site have either been banned or moved on as well. In the end, what made the site, for me, was the people, but those running it had bigger and better things in mind. It's their site and that's fine. It just tried to change a bit too much for my tastes.

nice to see so many older posters around. I stopped posting becasue this site got boring, but it's got much better recently (and surprisingly).It's just i moved on to other sites. I still read stuff here occasionally. Nice to see leeloo around - part of the reason i stopped posting was becasue other older posters left too - it was kind of the end of a era on this board almost. (that sounds a little OTT, but i'm sure some of you understand what i mean). it's just not the same recently.


I don't remember the last time i made a post, must have been a while ago.
I must be one of the oldest members here (i joined june 2001 i think - so long ago! seems like 5 mins), almost since the begining.

Also i've spent the last 3 years at uni (still got a few years to go, maybe another 3!) which means i just don't have as much time as i used to.
