Six Flags Sherwood Forest

Welcome to Six Flags Sherwood Forest, Mansfield's premier theme park!

I used the Drexler patch and the Dragon trainer to create my park. It's also quite large and so may take a little while to download!

Ok, this will mark my first ever in a long streak of rating parks. Hopefully my rating system fits good with everyone and is fair on all levels.

There is a total of 60 points. And, of course, the # you got is divided by 60, to give you a rating similar to receiving school grades. Then I multiply the number by 10 to give you a number betweeen 1 and 10. So....here are the catagories I will judge with...

First Glance--6/10 At a first glance it looked very crowded, very bright and a little too colorful, and tons of coasters.

Coasters--8/10 I liked your coasters, especially the final brake run on Mammouth along the Water, and also your flying coaster. Velociraptor had a little too much theming and clashing going on, keeping you from a higher score.

Music--2/5 Mainly the bad grade for this was the many sounds of the peeps, which I don't like. Other than that it was ok.

Themeing--5/10 Your park had a little too many themes in it, causing them to clash and overlap. Also, some of the coasters were overthemed.

Rides-- 7/10 The ratio between coasters and flat/dark rides was uneven. There should definitely be about 2-3 times more flat/dark rides than coasters.

Paths **Bonus-- 0/5 This is given an extra 5 points for using wide paths. I don't have anything against using single wide paths, it's just the guests really bug me, and wide paths make it look more realistic and easier to view.

Overall Look-- **This will be an average between the first 5 areas. 6.2 Overall, this is a good park. To see how it places in my ratings check below.

OK so it was 34.2/60 = a 0.57 * 10 =
5.7

0-1.5 TERRIBLE!
1.6-3.5 Needs work
3.6-5 Average
5.1-6.5 Above Average
6.6-8 Great
8-9.9 Premier Park!
10 An RCT Future Hall of Fame

Only 5.7? Humph! After my hair turned grey too during the 53 years it took to complete! Lol!

I know what you mean about the theming, but I like heavily themed parks, where every square - or most of them anyway, contain something, be it a ride, path, garden, theming, tree, etc. It's the same thing with the paths - I don't like double paths, I've found the guests get lost more easily. I was also on a mission to try and fit in every coaster type, whilst still being realistic - obviously only 1 steel twister wouldn't be enough. I didn't manage it but I'm sure someone has!

I like your rating system idea though; I'm interested in what you think of other parks!

Wow the coasters have really good ratings. yes if you haven't noticed many people like parks with a TON of microscopic theming using raised land, which your park doesnt have. i still like it its nice. the theming is ok. the different themes dont blend well they just clash.

well the coasters were nice and again it was a single wide path park. so it looks cluttered.

7/10

I haven't stolen anyone's name! I called it that because I live smack in the middle of the REAL Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire in England!

I personally watched my brother slave over this park for ages and i was impressed with coasters although i do have to agree about the clashing. And how can u say he stole a name? He made it up himself based on where we live. I am sure your parks will get better in future Andrew.

I really like this park. It is cluttered, but your coasters ratings make up for it. I give you a 7.5/10.
