| | | Oakwood Glen This is my new park, Oakwood Glen. It is alot different from my previous two. Also, even though it is being uploaded closed, it is fully openable. Drexler patch is required |

| | | Not that bad. The coaster's were a little too dominating, in my opinion, but the theming was excellent. I give it a 7.

| | Well i think you were trying to attempt a themacular mega park as others call it. but it lacked many things if thats what u were going for. First of all i would recommend using wide paths so everyone can see the theming you did, otherwise it all gets covered by trees. have more detailed theming. most of the theming there is nothing more then raise land buildings without much detail. dont have the buildings so plain. MORE flat rides other micellaneous buildings. way too much empty space. i know every space is filled but dont have it be all trees. even if you were going for a woodsy park have more pathing. and this can all be accomplished with a good layout. the layout of pathing here was not very good. seeing the path structure is ugly and if you're building over water then make a suspenison bridge or a bridge with water through it. also dont build flat rides over water looks tacky. ur coaster ratings are decent but thats not much of a problem. and ur names are okay. but its nice to see that your land isnt all flat. the islands are nice. overall you have made progress over ur last park. just the main thing is MORE detail. otherwise your on the right path. i think alot more could have gone into this park.
my grade: 5.9/10
o yeah and Glenwood Oaks is a much better name IMO then Oarkwood Glen, just a thought

| | | wide paths are good for somethings, but very skilled rct park builders can make a single-wide path park and make it feel like a wide path park.

| | | Your coasters need to fit the terrain better. It doesent really look good if you just have them towering above everything. Also be sure to use more flat rides. |

| | | I thought that this was a pretty good park, aside from the fact that I thought that the trees were somewhat repetitive and the coasters towered over everything else. IMO, more flat rides should have been used, and the rides (non-coaster) should have blended in with the theming. I gave it a 6 |

| | Thanx for the input. What do you mean when you talk about a suspension bridge? I didn't think you could do that in RCT. For the land, I just used Diamond Heights and fixed it up some. Also, whats a themacular park? And I used the name Oakwood Glen because it is the name of a subdivision I used to live right by. |

| | | By themacular park i mean a heavily detailed themed park, wide path (most of the time), lots of trees ( if its a woodsy park), lotta buildings, use of water land etc.
just use your imagination with things. raise some land put a path through it. raise some supports, for the cables might wanna use chairlft or single rail coaster track. use your imagination with things. dont be so limited to the actual theming objects. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
