Natelox Reviews

Ok Natelox, here are my reviews of Altamont and Westcoast since there isn't a thread on them already.

ALTAMONT

There is a total of 60 points. And, of course, the # you got is divided by 60, to give you a rating similar to receiving school grades. Then I multiply the number by 10 to give you a number betweeen 1 and 10. So....here are the catagories I will judge with...

First Glance--8/10 Looked like many other parks I have seen from greats at Danimation. The castle did add an affect though, and drew my attention to it first.

Coasters--10/10 I loved your coasters! Smoke From Fallen Ash blew me away with the barrel roll out of the station over the train smoke. Also, Hood....must I say more, great theming and the interplaying of it with other park features was great. Ogre, a great, typical floorless from you, but I really liked the small black vertical loop infront of the fountain, as well as the small immelman. Merlin's Twisted Magic, my lord, the way you put flowers along the path, and having the coaster go up and over them was awesome, great lift structure as well. Necromancer, typical steel looper, but I loved the boomerang themeing on it. Also, King and Queen were awesome. Great job on those, and for The Trenchs of War, great little addition to the park.

Music--4/5 Great work on the music, 4 main types for the 4 major coasters, but King and Queen could have used some to give music for the back, empty section of the park.

Themeing--10/10 Perfect! No other words to describe. Best castle I have ever seen in RCT.

Rides-- 9/10 Not too many, not too little. Played some roles in the smaller, detailed themed areas.

Paths **Bonus-- 0/5 This is given an extra 5 points for using wide paths. I don't have anything against using single wide paths, it's just the guests really bug me, and wide paths make it look more realistic and easier to view.

Overall Look-- **This will be an average between the first 5 areas. So it was a 41 out of 45. Or 9.1. Great average.

OK so it was 50.1/60 = a 0.835 * 10 =
8.4

0-1.5 TERRIBLE!
1.6-3.5 Needs work
3.6-5 Average
5.1-6.5 Above Average
6.6-8 Great
8-9.9 Premier Park!
10 An RCT Future Hall of Fame

WESTCOAST

There is a total of 60 points. And, of course, the # you got is divided by 60, to give you a rating similar to receiving school grades. Then I multiply the number by 10 to give you a number betweeen 1 and 10. So....here are the catagories I will judge with...

First Glance--10/10 At a first glance it looked amazing. That 4d looming, an Xcelerator type ride, menacing inverted in the back, and an enticing wooden in the middle.

Coasters--9/10 I loved your coasters. Chainsaw, I bit on the risky side that I have seen you do. Usually you do coasters that are always above 9 ex., but you went with a better looking ride, than a rating ride this time--great job. The 4d(cant spell right now) was awesome. Liked how you kept from using flying track until a ways into the course. Black Tusk, man this baby is competing with The Actual as my all-time favorite coaster (what is it with me always liking those colors). The barrel roll over the path, and the final brake run were awesome, also liked the not huge drop it had. High Noon was great, good camel backs, helices, and that final turn over the path won me over. And, the only thing holding this back from a 10 was Manta's blue colors. I couldn't stand them, and the first time I saw them the words 'Mako' (worst inverted coaster I've seen in RCT) popped into my head. Spirit Bear's launch tunnels won me over, and makes me wonder if EvilWME stole the idea and put it on his Defiance water coaster. Also, great theming around the corkscrews.

Music--5/5 No clash, always on theme too. Black Tusk's music was great.

Themeing--10/10 This was way up there in my list of your parks. Amazing pathwork, and building architecture. Bet you would like to know which park is my fav.

Rides-- 10/10 Wow! Loved it, perfect balance, and didn't draw from the park's main features.

Paths **Bonus-- 5/5 This is given an extra 5 points for using wide paths. I don't have anything against using single wide paths, it's just the guests really bug me, and wide paths make it look more realistic and easier to view.

Overall Look-- **This will be an average between the first 5 areas. So, 44 out of 45 is a 9.8.

OK so it was 58.8/60 = a 0.98 * 10 =
9.8!
