SFAW Trip Report

Here’s my TR for SFAW on 10/7/01

We got to the parking lot at 12:40 and we were surprised to see almost no one. We entered the park (nothing special) and went to get a FL pass for Serial thriller for 1: 20. we got in line for dungeon drop and it was basically a walk on. We then went to ST and had to wait longer for the fast lane than if we waited in line. Anyhow, we got in the front and had a great ride (my first on the turquoise train) we then got a fl pass for cyclone and then still had to wait longer for it than if we just got in line. They were running one of the trains empty sometimes. So, we got on and then got in line again and just walked on. So, after that we got a fl pass to B: TE and went to ultra twister. It had the longest wait in the park, 10 min. so we then went to batman, had to wait longer AGAIN and then rode 4 times without getting off. Then we went to greezed lightning and rode it 5 times, got bored and went to X-LR8 and rode once, “just to get it over with” then we looked at Texas tornado, saw nothing, and went on serpent for some fun. The ride operator sucked and we went through 3 times. We stopped by viper but it had broken down for the 3rd time so we went to SR again and got in line, rode it and then went to dungeon drop again. Then to cyclone twice, and then greezed lightning 7 times and then to SR at night and rode 3 times without getting off (there were only 2 people in line for the front) then went to viper 6 times in a row. So it was actually a good day a sorry park. In all we rode cyclone 4 times, SR 5 times, Viper 6 times, Greezed lightning 12 times, Batman 4 times, Ultra twister once, X-LR8 once, and serpent 3 times, and dungeon drop twice. In all that makes 37 rides. I was pretty dizzy at the end.

Ratings:

Texas Cyclone: 7.5/10 - a really nice wood.
Serial Thriller: 7/10 - good at night
Batman: The Escape: 6/10 - only in the front
Greezed Lighting: 6.5/10 - nice accelaration
X-LR8: 4/10 - waste of space
Serpent: 2.5/10 - cool kiddy ride
Viper: 6/10 - my first
Dungeon Drop: 6.5/10 - i like this one alot

Total park rating: 6.5/10

Thanks, I hope you enjoyed it.
