My Trip to Fright Fest 10/21/01 at SFGAm

Well I know that I'm gonna ride all the roller coasters there, except for V2 cause its broken down........I'm gonna ride Deja Vu first cause I'm DESPERATE to ride it. I've never been on a coaster at night. What is it like? I will be goin on a couple coasters at night tomorrow. I know I will on Raging Bull and Iron Wolf......are there any others I should try at night? Batman or Deja Vu maybe. I know RB and IW have lights....ive been near the park before at night....I saw RB's lights glow. I was once on iron wolf and they had the lights on it but it wasnt dark.....it was kool though. All i need to ride at SFGAm is Deja Vu then I'd be on all the coasters. I hope SFGAm gets a new coatser next year.....like flying......i want to ride one of those...i will also ride the front row of EVERY coaster there. And for the rides that have on ride cameras, ill buy one from each ride. any other ideas? im gettin souvenirs too.

I went to SFGAm yesterday, didn't ride Deja Vu because I wasn't going to wait 2 1/2 hours.

Unhappy

Hopefully you get to ride Deja Vu, I was there today (Oct 20) and Deja Vu had a rollback on the loop. I'm not sure if it was when it was going forwards or backwards. It was down for the rest of the day, I believe. They did try to reopen it later, but had other problems with it. I'll have a trip report on that and the rest of my SFGAm trip.

Listen man. yesterday it was JAM-PACKED. I mean (you can relate if you've ever benn here before) The Raging Bull Overflow was all the way to the Viper! Talk about crazy! Ebverything was overflowed out of the que's and you could barely move through the crouds. Plus, V2 and Deja Vu were down for all day, Demon was down for a few hours and everything else was crazy! I rode 3 rides during my 7 hour stay: viper (Waited an hour and 1/2), Condor (20 Min.) and Blood River (Formerly Roaring Rapids, waited 30 Min. AT NIGHT) Just a sign of warning: you ARE NOt going to get in every front row on every coaster. There is NO WAY. Mabye 2, if you're lucky.

By the way, this is getting moved to Trip Reports.

Happiness and Madness

Well it wasnt that great but it was awesome. Deja Vu was testing all of the morning so after 12 I actually saw people on it and i saw it get stuck like 2 times while they were testin it but I DIDNT get to ride it!!!!! Thats what I mostly hated about goin to great america today. Cause my mom wanted to leave 2 freakin hours before it closed....if she didnt have to i would have ridden deja vu........well i got an on ride photo from shockwave and i looked kinda strange but i liked the picture cause i was all excited on it. I was so desperate to ride the front of batman, and it was AWESOME you could see everything and the track up ahead it was so cool. Man i almost got to the front of rb but i didnt wanna wait that long.....i had fast passes and i used them for Giant drop once, iron wolf once, rb twice, and demon once. We went on 10 rides.....Batman once, Demon twice, RB twice, IW twice, Orbit once, Giant Drop once, and Shockwave once. It was really cool. The second best day of my life....Aug 21 was the best day of my life at sfgam cause i went on more rides includin v2 and american eagle. Next time i go to sfgam it will definatley be the best day of my life cause ill go on most of the coasters in the front row and ill go on DV. Your right, CoasterDude, today it was packed and rb line was all the way out to viper and viper line was all the way to rb! but that was just in the mornin. Oh yea me and my friend were goin on iron wolf and we were like 5 or 10 mins away from bein on and they started to say an announcement and i thought it was gonna be bad and it was. Iron wolf broke down and i told my friend we were gonna wait 5 mins and if it didnt go, then we would leave. But i heard a ring or bell or somethin and i saw the harnesses come up in the station and that meant it was fixed and that was right when we were gonna leave so it was worth stayin in line.
