| SFAW 10-28-01-last day of season I rate on a scale of -5 to 5. It was the last day of the season, so i had to go. i had asked some friends to go,and one said yes, but then decided he didnt want to go, so i went alone. i was supposed to go at 12:00, but my parents made me go to church after sunday school and then do some crap math. So it ended up i got to the park at 3:30, peak crowd time. I got in and went to Nottingham Village. Dungeon Drop and Serial Thriller had long lines, so i skipped them. Then i kept going, and Viper had a huge line, and XLR8's line was long enough that i didnt want to waste my time. I skipped checking Greezed Lightnin and B:TE, and headed to Ultra Twister.
Ultra Twister-TOGO heartline-The line looked to be about 30 min-40 min, so i waited. I got pretty far, and it broke down. I didnt know why, because the chain was still going, but my guess was a restraint problem. Almost everybody in line left, but i waited and moved up about 3 rows in 5 seconds. I waited for 10 minutes for them to fix it. I only had to wait to cars after that becuase they needed one person. I was sitting next to an annoying black dude. He was saying, "Dog, i was lyin about a tiny strap holding you in, but im right, dog. He kept cussing while we were going to the lift. there was a huge restraint holding him in and he thought the only thing holding him was the clip that goes onto a bar on the OTSR. Yes, he was an idiot. Then, we were engaging the lift and the platform tilted up, and he went crazy, saying the list was too steep and stuff like that. and when the lift jerked a little, he got really scared. We got to the top and he started screaming like a little girl, and i started to laugh. then we went down that drop and i forgot about him. the barrel roll were great. 2 of 5
Then I got off and went to see about B:TE. The line was too long, and while i was going back to the regular path, I saw the old Batcave exit and thought that next season I might try to sneak my mag light into the park and shine it through the bars on the entrance. Then, I headed for the Texas Cyclone. SFAW had already started to get rid of the Fright Fest theming, and has packed away some tomb stones and other things like that.
Texas Cyclone-Wooden Twister-The line was probably 15 minutes long, even though it looked more. While i was in line, i saw that the underside of the trains had a bar, not wheels. So i was wondering if it is a flanged wheel woodie or if i just saw wrong. I got in the second to last row. On the way up the lift, the train stopped for about 10 seconds, and then started up again. we went over the drop like a rock and the girls behind me kept screaming. Even on the tiniest drops. I yelled shut up, but it didnt help. they are worse than the peeps in RCT. But otherwise it was a very fun ride. 4 of 5
Next, i went to the other side of the park. I watched some people on the barnstormer, and decided i would try and do that next season. Then, i got in line for Serail Thriller.
Serial Thriller-Vekoma SLC-I thought this line would be about 1 hour. I got to the station in about 40 minutes, but then while I was wating for th front, it broke down. In 15 minutes, they had it back up, and I got on within an hour. It was dark, and i was in the front alone. I loved the drop, the sidewinder, and the sero g rolls, but the other stuff hurt. It wasnt as smooth as 2 mights ago, but that was probably becuase it was alot colder than 2 nights ago. I was shivering going up the lift. 1 of 5
That was it for rides. I got a tangy taffy and then had to leave. I wanted to stay but homework called. I cant wait till next season. I hope we get something new.
