Generally speaking June isn't that bad... in the first week of June I would expect mostly walk-ons(with the exception of Wicked Twister, Millennium Force, and Raptor).

Speaking about June.... I recommend to anyone to go on a Sunday, every Sunday in June the park is pretty empty(most people at graudation parties, etc.) . Just stay away from Saturdays!

Hope that helps! If you have any more questions just ask.

I heard that June Wednesdays are really good, so try to get on MF a lot that day, because other days you might not wanna wait really long.

They haven't announced the official date yet. They normally have Coaster Mania about that time frame. Last year it was June 1.

If you participate in this event you will get ERT on Mantis, Millenium Force, Blue Streak, Magnum, and Raptor. This was last years ERT. they had both morning and evening ERT at different rides. The ERT on Millenium was excellent at night.

Depending on the dates, I might go again this year.

Moving to "Trip Tips"...

Cedar Point in June is one of the best times to go, actually, speaking from three years of seasonal employee experience. The school crowds are more or less gone, but the heavy crowds associated with summer vacationers have yet to arrive. Most of the shows are in full swing, and the gift shops are well-stocked though some different items may come in later in the month. The tip I'd give is to be prepared for cooler weather, especially at night -- it can get nippy, even in June, and you want to be prepared for that. Have a good time!

I went to CP on a Tuesday the first week of July. So, you'll have shorter lines than I did. I had pretty short lines.
This is probably what your lines will be like:

Blue Streak: Walk on
Cedar Creek Mine Ride: Walk on
Corkscrew: wait for one or two trains
Raptor: 10-20 min.( ride this between 5 and 7 PM. Everyone is at the back of the park and the line will be very short.)
Mantis: 25 min.(ride this right before closing)
Millenium Force: 45 min.
Wicked Twister: 1 hr.
Iron Dragon: 5 min.
Wildcat: 5 min.
Mean Streak: 15 min.(ride this at most and hour before closing
Gemini: 5-10 min.
Disaster Transport: 15 min.
Magnum XL 200: 10 min.
Power Tower: 15 min.
Demon Drop: 5 min.

That's what I'm guessing. I'd recommend riding Blue Streak first as a warmup coaster, then head immediatly over to Mantis, if you get in line before, say, 10:30 AM, you should have a short line with everyone piled up in the lines for Raptor and Wicked twister in the front of the park. After Mantis, move on to Power Tower, Gemini, Magnum, etc. Have fun!

If possible, Memorial Day would be very good. Many rides were walk ons last year, Raptor at one point was, Power Tower space shot, Blue Streak, Mean Streak, Magnum, Corkscrew, Demon Drop, Gemini, and a few others I think. MF was 45 minutes. But, it may be more crowded because of WT. Just avoid weekends.

Can anyone tell me about waits on Thursdays. I'm going the 3rd week of June Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat and going to the park Thurs/Fri. We are staying in a rewsort, so I'm hoping for the best for MF and WT

Kids are just getting out of school by the 2nd/3rd week in June. But my experience is the crowds during the week in June are still not as bad as they will be in July/August. If you are staying at one of CP's resort hotels, you'll be able to get into the park 30 minutes early to ride WT and/or MF. Lines should be about what was listed above, possibly a bit longer for Raptor, WT and MF.
