| | | ? for Ohio residents I'm thinking of taking a trip up to Ohio to visit a couple of its world-famous theme parks. I've never been there before (unless you count the stops I've made at the Grayhound bus terminals in Cleveland and Cincinnati, that is..... ). From what I've seen on Mapquest.com, Aurora and Sandusky look pretty close to each other. How far (in travelling time) are those two cities in actuality? Could I do SFWoA and Cedar Point in a 3-day period? |

| | | I'm almost positive that CP and WOA are 2 hours apart. So you could spend a day and a half at cp, then drive to WOA that day. Get settled into your hotel, then go to WOA the next day. It shouldn't be a problem doing it. If you have the chance, I'd recommend going to PKI.

| | | Yeah, listen to Atrace. CP and WOA should be around 2 hours apart, so I'm sure you could hit both parks in 3 days or less.

| | | CP and SFWoA is very reasonable in 3 days. Atrace has the right idea. Actually, SFWoA and CP are about an hour and 40 minutes apart. SFWoA is located close to the James Shocknessy Turnpike, which is the main route to Cedar Point, it connects to Rt. 250 North. Hope that helps. Also, I'd recommend PKI, if you have the chance to drive 4 hours out-of-the-way. Kennywood is only about 2 hours from SFWoA as well. Hope this helps.

| | Thanks for the info everyone. Man, you guys really live in Theme Park Central, don't you? I mean, I'm not complaining, I've got WDW, BGT, SWF, and Universal/IOA all within 2.5 hours of me, but you guys have it good up there too! |

| | | Moving to Trip Tips... I'd actually recommend going the other way around if possible -- starting at Six Flags Worlds of Adventure for a good full day, then the next day drive over to Cedar Point and take advantage of their "Starlight" tickets that let you into the park for the evening at a reduced price. Then you have the next full day at Cedar Point as well. If you're only going to be there for a half-day either way, might as well try to save a bit!
