| moreys piers the sunday before memorial day. went with two friends.funny stuff happened.
first we headed to wild wheels pier, home of the great white.u gotta love cci. in the back, the ride provides serious laterals and airtime. the drop, being the steepest current drop on a woodie, is great.a bit rough, but still intense. 7/10.
next stop, mariners landing, home to the sea serpeant, a vekome boomerang.its a walk on. i get in and everything is gpoion good. the op says"all clear, dispatch". nothing happens. he treid at least 12 more times then ghave up. he made us get back in line, but at the front.they test a few times, and my freinds got sick of waiting, so went to ride moby ****. as soon as they left it opened and i got on. this ride is soooooo smooth. my head did not hit the otsr once, and the g's in the loop were good foreward and better backwards.i get off and meet my friends at the exit. we get in line. we are next to go on, and the train gets stuck on the second lift.it was there for about 30 min and we gave up. a good smooth ride, 8/10.
we then went to morey's pier, home the the slc.we rode this around 3, and im typing this at 1240 am and i still have a headache. on the way up the lift we got stuck for about 5 min. the drop was good, but the rest was painfull. it wasnt rough, just horrid transitions making for horrid headbangs. 3/10.
we made our way over to rc-48.its an awsome compact coaster, and pretty intense. not much else to add. 6/10.
went on the condor, pretty cool spinning 100 ft high. 5/10
we walked over to wild wheels pier again and got some polish water ice on the way. watermelon polish water ice-10/10.
went on the ski lift thingy and it stopped us right next to the drop of the great white. we were up there for about 40 min and it was really cold. we finally got down and rode the great white some more and then the doo whopper. do whopper is bad, 2/10.
overall trip goodness-6/10
great white-5 rides
sea serpeant-7 rides
nor easter-1 ride
my car was parked on juniper street which is right in front of moreys and as i was leaving i heard the loudest bang i ever heard, like so much louder then fireworks.
