| Wild Waves/Enchanted Village Ok lets all take one moment to applaude Six Flags for buying up Washingtons small amusement park! *claps* I did not have film so i didnt take pics but im going to go again and take some.
First Major change: kiddy area of Water park taken out: New tree house water area being built, its going to look nice. 2nd, enchanted village sides parking lot and gate has been taking out and is now going to be where the Lumcerjack falls *Large boat ride, paper "goes up 50ft and drops 100ft* is going to be. I dun know how it will work but i will tkae pics and let you know as soon as its built. Ahh yes and its schedual to open up on july 26th so I should be going for opening day.
The new rides running where interesting.
First we rode teh hang glider ride, not very intense but fun to go on with friends, you get a nice look at the pond and wild waves.
2nd new ride we rode was the timberax. Its basically the classic hammerhead ride things at the fair. *teh ring of fire inverted* where your legs dangle and such. It was very fun, a nice smooth ride and you sit 3 in a row and the people face eachother. Rode it 6 times.
The new wild mouse coaster looks very nicely sadly it was un opened yet, becouse according to one of the workers who said " tehy got to ride it last weekend but its not open yet becouse it has technical difficulties and they are too lazy at the moment to fix them" I believe there are 2 pics of it on RCDB.com
What else, theres a new themed section thats wester where theres a crappy bumber car ride where they make every one go one way, a kiddy wagon that spins around, and tehn a classic spining roulet ride. *wasn't very fun.*
another notable change was they took down the old octopus ride and are either moving it or getting a new one.
In my local news paper there was a huge artical on the expansion, and it appears Six Flags has alot more in store for us, including some Major Roller Coasters to welcome it to its Family. I will keep you posted on news for next season and get some pics next time I go. |
