I'm goin to Hershey Park on 6-12

I'm going to Hershey Park next Wednesday. I'm leavin Tuesday aftrenoon to stay at my aunt's house which is about 5 minutes from the park. The weather channel says there will probably be scattered showers till about 2 o'clock. My dad and I are geting there very early so we can do all the rides we want to. Here's a rundown of our ride schedule:

If the ride is a walk-on to 10 minute wait, we will ride it twice. If it is more than 10 minutes, we ride it once.
1. Great Bear
2. Comet
3. Sooperdooperlooper
4. Trailblazer(only doing once because it sucks)
5. Sidewinder
6. Wild Mouse(my dad doesn't ride this one for some reason)
7. Lightning Racer
8. Wildcat
9. Roller Soaker
And we'll play the rest of the day by ear. I'll have TR by thursday afternoon or evening.

I'll give every detail about the day, even what I do when I get to my aunts the night before.

This should be in travel tips, but let me give u some tips.
Dont make a schedule of what rides u should get on. Just know what you want to get on first and let your day flow from there. It makes things alot funner IMO. Another thing, dont ride rollersoaker last, ride it at the hottest point of the day. Also I here that sidewinder is closed for modifications, but im not too sure if they are finished yet.

Ride the most popular coasters first. Great bear, lightening Racer, Roller soaker. Also try doing other things than just coasters, like some flat rides and water rides, unless you are only going to be there for a short amount of time but if you will be there until closing then do other things also. Another thing is to make your last ride of the day something good like great bear, it will make you feel alot better when you leave the park. Thats all from me.

Have Fun!

Thanks for the tips X, but if it rains that day like the weather channel is predicting, me and my dad figured those are the rides we should try getting on first because those are the major ones i liked when I went last year. I went last year and got a chance to go last year and i rode every ride in the park as well as the chocolate world tour. I enjoyed it but I'd like to make sure I ride all the coasters before I ride anything else. And because I know Hershey is a ghost town on a Wednesday in June, thats the time I went last year, I think i could ride all of those in an hour and a half if i take a drink and bathroom break during that. If it gets nice, I plan to ride all the rides and coasters numerous times during the day. I had a combined 37 coaster rides there last year in about a 10 hour visit. I'll let you all know how it went probably late Wednesday evening or sometime on Thursday.

I haven't had the pleasure of going to Hershey Park, but it's high up on my list of "must dos" (what park isn't?). I can, however, move this to Travel Tips...

You have got to ride Roller Soaker even if it rains. That was the best water ride I have ever been on, plus its alot of fun just playing with the guns and stuff. Also Lightning Racer is my favorite woodie. but if it rains Chocolate WOrld is always a best bet, but the smell of chocolate is really strong on that tour.

Yea, I LOVE the strong smell of chocolate on the factory tour. I went on it with my dad right before the park closed when I went last year. We were the only people on the ride. We "got high" from the smell of chocolate.

Fair warning: they put trim breaks on the Wildcat. I don't like it either.

Be sure to see "Hershey's Really Big 3D Show" at Chocolate World. $5, and it's a hoot. And I don't like 3D movies (I scare easily).

Great Bear will have the longest line in the park. No doubt. The people love it. It's a front seat ride only for the adrenaline junkies.

Midway America is a ghost town at 10:10 AM. Go there first. Well, maybe after a pop on Canyon River Rapids (Lines are usually 2+ hours).
