Well, I had a good time, admist getting really sick (:P) near the end of the day. We got there a little after 10:30 AM, when the park opens, and immediately went right to Volcano. I would have wanted to start off with Hypersonic XLC, but it was closed.

Volcano's wait was only about 30 minutes, most of that in the walkway behind the station. I got in a middle seat and then embarked on my #6 coaster. It was great! I love Volcano! That first turn between the LIM's is amazing, along with the launches, vertical portion, corkscrews, everything! 9/10.
After Volcano, we walked over to Anaconda for a walk-on ride. It was decent, the inversions are really good, but those turns are pretty painful. 6/10.
We wanted to go on Flight of Fear now, but instead went to Rebel Yell (forwards). Why is the line (i don't mean waiting time, but just the length of the walkway) so long for this? It took us longer to walk from the entrance to the station than to experience the ride. Anyways, its a great John Allen mega coaster. There's so much airtime, and the variation of the hills is perfect. 7/10
Next was Ricochet. It's not really as good as it's cracked up to be. I like Wild Mice, but this one was just pretty average. Maybe the wheels weren't back far enough or something, because i didn't get that really scary feeling around the hairpin turns. The first drop is decent, and I wish that there were more sharp drops near the end. So, an average ride. 5/10
It was right there, so we went on Hurler next. It was basically walk-on, but me and a friend waited an extra 5 minutes for the front seat. Well, the coaster stinks. It's way to rough, and the hills don't offer much airtime on a pretty boring layout. 4/10
Now it was lunch time. We all ate at Ledo's located in the Grove, and I got an individual pepperoni pizza, a big cookie, and a big soda. After lunch, me and a friend challenged one of the park's new rides, Triple Spin. Its a cool ride, kind of like a scrambler that raises up high off the ground.
Shockwave was next, a decent TOGO ride, VERY ROUGH, but I got some nice forces when I stood on my tippy-toes. Anyone else notice how long it takes to go up the lift hill and off that little platform thing? 6/10
Next was Grizzly, which for some reason I hated the first time I went here, but I knew I would love this time. Well, after a walk-on ride, my prediction came true. Grizzly rules! It is rough, but its such a good kind of rough, like a very old wooden coaster. Running through the woods adds a lot onto this coaster, too. 8/10
Now we kind of did nothing for the next hour. We walked toward the Action Theater, but then decided to go to the water park (it was very hot), so we had to go to the water park to get keys from my friend's mom to get into the car to get our bathing suits. So we went and got them and then went back to the water park. I only ended up riding one thing in the water park, Pipeline Peak. Pipeline Peak is actually four waterslides, the tall, steep one being Nightslider. It's awesome.
At this point, it began to rain. We took cover in a store in Water Works, and it only lasted about 5 minutes. From here, my adrenaline-packed friends and I went forth to Flight of Fear while my lazy friends just sat around. Well, it was broken down, so we left. Instead we went and rode Anaconda again, and then Scooby Doo's Ghoster Coaster. This ride is off the hook for a kiddie coaster! Those little bunny hops throughout the whole thing are killer! 7/10
After that we walked back to Rebel Yell (backwards). I prefer the forwards to the backwards, but the backwards is still good. 7/10
Next, my friends wanted to ride Hurler, but I wanted to ride Grizzly again, so we split. It was great, again. We met back up at the Nickelodeon Space Surfer, a REALLY tall ride. You swing around the central pillar as it ascends. It's actually kind of boring, but you go up really high.
Now we tried Flight of Fear again. This time it was open, with only about a 20 minute wait. This ride is awesome! The lapbars really reduce the headbanging that you would experience with the OTSR's, so you can finally enjoy the ride! Well, its awesome, and seems even faster in the dark. I tried to get some flash photos while on it, but I don't think that worked out.

8/10
Now here is where things went downhill. We went to ride the Beserker, its like a pirate ship that goes upside down. I tell you, never go on this thing! It made me SO sick! I was about to throw up the entire time I was on it. Gah. I wanted to go on the Eiffel Tower and front seat of Ricochet, but now I couldn't. I'm so mad! I hate Beserker!
I ended up sitting around for the remainder of the day. It was about 7:30 (the park closed at 8:00) so it didn't matter that much. Eventually, I just HAD to throw up. I was sitting right next to the entrance to the park, but I didn't know where the closest restroom was. As I scrambled to get out my park map and find the restroom, I had to hold back the phlegm in my mouth!

Well, I got to a restroom, and you know what happened...
Overall the day was fun, despite a bad ending. I got to ride all the coasters that I could, and all the rides, too. I can't wait to get back sometime and ride XLC. BTW, I took about 50 photos during the day, and once I get them developed and scanned, they will all be available at
sfa-source.com. Thanx.
