What everyone really needs to know is that any topics asking for tips on parks, coasters, lines, etc. all belong in Travel Tips... As for the park, I've never been myself so I can't really help you out with stuff there -- but I wish I could! Drives me crazy that there are such great coasters up there (just a few hours drive away) and I haven't been...

I live about 30 minutes from SFOG, and I visit there regularly...
Here are the tips that I recommend:
First of all, use the lo-q system! (you will get about 3-4 more rides in if you use this) The cost to use the system are as follows: 1person: $20, 2- $30, 3-$40, 4-$50, 5-$60, 6-$70 (max of 6 per q-bot)
But if you don't get one, here are some tips:
First of all, get to the park around 9:30- park, and get your tickets as fast as possible, the gates open @ 9:40 (or a little earlier), and Schorcher& Cyclone usually open in about 5 minutes after this... Ride both of them if they're open, and at 10, the whole park opens... go straight to Acrophobia (great ride!) and ride it once (walk-on first thing), then head to dejavu and see if it's open (it probably won't be), then head to S:UF, ride it as many times as you can (the back is the best seat of all!) then ride GASM (front is great view, back has a lot of Airtime, but it's rough), then hit Ninja while you're there... Head back down and see if Dejavu is open... if it is, ride it, and if not, head back up and ride Mine Train... then head over and ride Monster Plantation, and then hit the Gasp, and Looping Starship... by now it should be a good while after 12, so hit free-fall real quick, then head over to Gotham City, ride Mind Bender, and then Batman... re-ride those if you want to, and then go get something to eat... after you eat, head back over towards Lickskillet (if you didn't ride Dejavu earlier, hopefully its open now, so ride it) Then ride Wheeli, and re-ride Ninja (if you want to) and GASM... walk over and see how long S:UF's line is... (if they are running three trains, ride it again, if they are running 2, it'll be about 50-70 min., if one train, don't worry about it... then head up and ride the carousel & hanson cars (if you want to), and then head over and ride the sky buckets... from now on, its up to you what you want to ride (either hit Cyclone, Acro, Schorcher, & Log Flume) or go and ride B:TR & Mind Bender...) around 1 hour to closing, if you want to get soaked, ride Splash Water Falls a bunch of times (usually a walk-on) and then around 30 min. to closing, hit Thunder River a couple of times... if you really want to ride another coaster again, get in the line 30-45 min. before closing 'cause they close the lines off to get everyone out by closing (and if you want to ride Deja again, you might want to go an hour before)... I hope this helped! And have fun! it's a great park!
