planning a trip to ohio next month to hit CP for holloweekends and either pki or sfwoa.

Which park would be better to visit in one day?

Admission costs are not an issue because i have a SFMM season pass and access to pki day passes.

PKI is closed most of September, but it's open all of October and some of November. If it's open I would go to PKI. I've heard some bad reviews about SFWOA but they have a few good coasters, but PKI is probably the better park overall. We have The Beast and SOB, two of the best woodies in the world.

I am planning to visit the respective park on a sunday not midweek.

It's closed everyday in September for private parties, etc., including weekdays, with the exception of September 1-2 and 28-29.
Then the park is open on weekends through November 2. On Friday and Saturday nights during October, Fearfest will take place.

Wow that is going to suck for you Coaster Freak...

SFWoA was pretty bad...I would have recommended for you to visit Kings Island, but that's out of the question now I guess...

well i was initially planning to go to CP on the 20 (friday night) and part of the 21st for halloweekends and then visit either PKI/SFWOA on the sunday.....my thinking though is that if i put of going down to the following week or later that the weather at CP might be a little unbearable (translation......COLD!!!)

also, i would have made a point to check the calender to make sure PKI was open....i wouldn't have gone down without doing that first.

Cold at Cedar Point is the best time to go! Dress warm and you'll be alright!
I can't wait to go in 3 weeks to Cedar Point for Halloweekends! I LOVE cold weather!
