| CP Sept 15: sometimes rain is good THIS IS MY CONTINUATION FROM MY OTHER THREAD CP SEPT 14:I HATE RAIN!
We woke up on this day about 9:30am and guess what? There were grey skies and a good chance of rain. Agian we went for breakfast, I forget the name of the place but I'll edit it later when I remmber. (they deserve the mention, the food is good). After we left the restuarant, it was a little sunny out, so on to the park we go. First up was going to be Millennium Force since we missed it the day before.
We went straight to MF. The park wasn't crowded at all. The amount of time we had to wait for Millennium Force...10-15 minutes. There's not much I can say about this ride that hasn't been said before. So I'll leave it at this. AWESOME, this is my favorite ride and has been since I rode it my first year of coasters, the same year it opened 2000!!!
Millennium Force- can I give it 11/10? after all, it is my trip report.
We crossed the path and walked over to Mantis. Many people have complained how rough this ride is. I don't see how it is rough, Iron Wolf kills me, this is smooth in comparison. We went on the front row, just a very cool ride.
Mantis- 8/10
Afterwards we went to Wicked Twister, this would be my first ride on it. We got in line, or what little line was there. We got to the station and it shut down on us. It was recommended that we leave and ride other rides becuase they didn't know how long the shutdown would be. We walked over to Disaster Transport. I like this ride, it's fun and it's dark. There's not much to it but a few drops and some turns but the dark makes it fun.
Disaster Transport- 6/10
It was time to eat, We ate at Johnny Rockets. The food was good, a little expensive but was nice. At one point all the waiters/waitresses danced to a song, can't remember which one. A fun time.
Johnny Rockets- 8/10
After getting out of Johnny Rockets, I looked ovet at Wicked Twister. I was doing some wicked twists alright, so it was time to head over there.
We got into the line and soon enough we were on. The ride ops were cool, they were doing countdowns with the riders. One time was especially funny. The riders were not so enthusiastic with the countdown, so the ride op over the intercom said "no no, we're going to so that again" with a funny hint of sarcasm. That was cool. I've been on V2 at SFGAm and S:UE, so I knew what to expect for the most part. The initial launch though seemed to have a little more oomph to it though. We sat towards the back to get the most of the back spiral. I do prefer the brake on the other impulses, but the spiral was great. I really could feel the added speed though on this. I would've loved to have gotten a chance to have ridden it front row. It looks as you just narrowly avoid that crossbeam on the front spike. I do like V2 better but only slightly.
Wicked Twister- 9.5/10
We went on some other stuff again like Power Tower and Millennium Force again. I would have liked to have gotten to ride some more stuff but overall, I had a really good time and I can't wait till I go again!
Overall CEDAR POINT trip- 8/10
