Thumbs up Sixflags Great Adventure 9/29/02

After Skull mountain we rode the Sky cars across tord the Fronteir section of the park. We finally got some popcorn, and I got my sister motion sick medication for like a $1. 50. We then headed tord Viper area, and she went to the car, It was Adams first time getting on Viper, and he asked me why there was no line? I said you will see why in a min! when walking the que for Viper I notice Great Adventure has already started to repaint sections of Rolling Thunder! I was very happy to see that! Finally some TLC to this coaster, Back to Viper after a painfull ride of screaming throu the twisted coils and 25secs of brutal pain Adam discovered why Viper had no line Viper gets a 4/10 its a coaster give it a break, pun intended!

After that we got on Rollingthunder with only one train running We got on tord the front, and had a painfull ride it was very painfull but all I can do was keep my back off the seat, and surpise surpise I got airtime on it!. 6/10 could be smoother, when coming back into the staion I seen a coaster freak guy, and he asked if I want to ride again, sure could never pass up a re-ride. We talked going up the lift, and he told me how it still has the same type of padding from the 70's! lol I belive him when he says it too. If he reads this (dident catch ur name) when I got off Medusa , I looked for you and you where prop going for a re-ride,so since I was halfway down the ramp we went home shortly after that since my sister was sick in the car. Medusa was running nice, love the airtime in the Zero G roll, and I give it a 7/10 as I dont like looping to much anymore, and oh yea I seen a ride operator I know by now ,by the name of Matt working on Medusa.

We then headed over the sky cars again ,and then relize we needed to call it a day, we wanted to ride Hundinis great escape, but it had a very very long line prop over 30mins or longer, since the capicty stinks on that ride at least it dose when ur standing there for 10mins not moving.

Things I noticed in the park,as I seen many things, there is NO NEW TRACK IN THE PARKING LOT. The park is well set for fright fest, and is putting up alot of props, the boardwalk is done with litle flags hanging from everywhere, and alot of the coasters ,and rides are being cleaned up or having things fixed or replaced. There will be three stages set ups one where the festival stage is,and the other by the fountain and the last one by the Big wheel. The park was getting large crowds tord mid, day and alot of things scream to point at Superman for next season as it is a Fact now. Alot of flat rides where closed also, but one or two where open.
