Tokyo Disney Sea/land weeked

Ok, OK, lets get the first mistake out of the way. NEVER NEVER EVER GO TO EITHER PARK ON A WEEKEND OR HOLIDAY!!!!!!

Any way, I woke up bright and early SATURDAY morning, and got ready and then soon we were heading to Disney Sea. YAY, I was very excited to get to go to this park. ANd we got in and ran to Center of the earth, Where we waited 80minutes to ride it. You have to wait to ride an elevator down to where you wait in line to board the drill ride vehicals. The ride its self is kinda cool, theres one really really cool storm sence,, and then you have the grand finally, which actually isnt soo grand... The hill is fun, but the train slows down before it goes over killing on any airtime, and then the hill its self isnt that long, really short actually. But then again it is Disney....

2nd we grabed fast pass for Storm Rider, We were gonna get Center of the earth ones, but I wasnt gonna wait 30minutes to get one.

Then we waited 75minutes to ride INdi Jones, which is basically the sae as the one in California.

Then we wondered back to ride Storm Rider, THis ride was very cool, Theres smoke, Rain, and even parts of teh set break off the vehical, very cool. I suggest this ride.

Then we got fast passes for Magic Lamp theater.
And rode Some mermaid lagoon stuff, and Sinbads journey. Then it was time for Magic Lamp theater.

This is defintly one of the craziest shows out there, thanx to Genie. I also like the little "emph" they give you at the end. Very well done, and even if you cant un derstand Japanese, yiou can get the major idea really easy.

Then we went and waited 70 minutes for 20000 leagues under the sea, this is a cool ride, Its hard to believe they dont use water in it. It looks like they do. Another great feat done by disney.

Then later I waited 5 minutes to eat the Famous Hot Dog Gyoza, and I will tell you they are good! And if you go to the park, you should eat one! Wait till about 9pm ish and the lines short.

Over all thoughts: ammusing park, but lines where insaine for food and rides, rides where definetly not worth 80 minute waits.

We did stay at the Hotel Millacosta, which absoultly is a great hotel. Very beutiful.

The next day was Disney Land, where Every thing had 30 minute and up waits. That day sucked majorly. Dont go on weekends.

Oh yes the best event by far was MInnie Mouse Hitting on me!

I have a few pictures here, disney sea is mostly of areas around the park, disney land are mostly of me and the people I went with. There are also a few of teh Korakyuen coaster construction, but they arent very good.

Man, I'm suprised this thread didn't get any replies.I am so interested in Disney Sea.I can only hope that WDW would build their own version, but I will get here even if they do.I am a huge fan of those themes.I especially like the 20K Leagues Under The Sea idea.I went on the original WDW ride, and I miss it dearly. However, this looks like it could make up for it.

To conclude, I would rather go to this park then any other in the worls. And that includes CP, and SFMM.I love Disney, and their awsome ideas.I may want to be an Imagineer someday, but I will always admire their ideas and ways. They prove that not only coasters make the park. But when they do create coasters, they do it correctly.Well, nice report man. Wish it had a lil more detail, but the pictures were worth it.Thanks for sharing it with us.

Wow, you have some really great pictures there! Yeah I agree, Disney Sea rocks! and I think that they should bring it to WDW also. It would be a better choice than AK was...

Well Yes, that would be nice to bring it too WDW, but im sure this theme park will be only one of a kind. Which is part of what disney some what likes. ONe of a kind type things, besides majic kingdom that is.

If you want more details I can tell you about any thing you want.

As for coming to disney sea, its worth it i think, but id say wait a few years after they have added in a few more attractions.

Actaully, I think that it is a possibility to bring to WDW.For two reasons. One, I think that it would be easiest to build here with all the money, and probably make the most profit only to the original. And, number 2.I liked how Disney was original for a while, but now they are cloning a LOT!Look at Winnie The Pooh, Tokyo Indiana Jones, and THEY CLONED A WHOLE PARK ALMOST!Even though I've heard it's lil shabby compared to the WDW version, DLP's Walt Disney Studios is very similar.

But, I am not saying completely direct clone of layout, rides, or even the name.Just with this same idea in a park that seems to be working in Tokyo.Legends and beats of the sea, and the amazing rides. It may take up to 10 years for WDW to get a new park, but I think this is the leading concept that they could do.They make for money then any of the other Disney Resorts, so this is just a way to bring in a lil(LOT) more.

Ahh thats all true. And Im not going to argue anything, It does get annoying that they do copy things. But I just want to say I did go to WDW`s magic kingdom and hated it, it appeared dirty and overrated to me. I will personally stick with disney land in california for any Magic Kingdom magic.

I agree with that. Our Magic Kingdom looks like the lowest of them all.It is the only one I have ever even been to.But, it still has some great attractions, and some awsome original attractions. One being Alien Encounter. But in my opinion, it's what lies out of the ordinary of Disney at WDW.Like Epcot and Animal Kingdom.Whether you like either one or not.
But, whether we get the TDS type park or not, I am gonna make it over there and get to the original.Looks great, and I have heard the TDR cast members are great.

Yeah, the cast members are cool. Except thier Minnie scared me, since she kept hugging and kissing me.... Heh. But Like I said I would plan to wait for them to get one or two more attractions first, there are soo few Ride attractions, and so they all tend to build up lines fast.

I am a disney freak as well but unfortunately I have never even been to WDW but I am an annual passholder for Disneyland and California Adventure. I have spent most my life in that park but I remember seeing the opening day ceremonys of Disney Sea on channel 9 and it looks awesome. I am really interested in the Indiana Jones ride. At first I believed it was a boat ride but I guess it isn't?!?! Could someone give me some information on this attraction? E-mail me at guitarguy7787@aol.com and Please visit my website which is devoted to Disneyland (adress below \l/)
THANKS
NATE

That's nice to know. I personally think it sucks how WDW get's all the glory for everything cause Disneyland has so much to offer and California Adventure is growing too. Also, the new waterpark coming soon wil also be cool. The one thing Disneyland's got over WDW is the Indiana Jones Adventure so back up. LOL!

I will admit, DL has the better Magic Kingdom.Infact, WDW has the worst Magic Kingdom of them all. However, it's the size and whole resort area that make it most people's first choice for a Disney Resort. But, we have Dinosaur which while it isn't as good as Indy, out ToT is defenantly gonna be better then the newer DCA version. And Epcot is the most unique theme park on this whole stupid Earth.

But from what I have seen, TDS's Indy's que is a lil less fun then DL, but what they did to the ride makes it much better.Like the Tornado and fire ball effect.Simply amazing.

Fire Ball and Tornado??? Hmm, Dont quite remeber those, there was the Big ol` puffs of smoke that shoot at ya. And yes the Q is kinda boring and lame. Half of its out side if you go on a weekend.

Ill be going to Disney sea again on the 22nd, A Weds. So it should be empty so Ill hopefulyl ride alot more things, and can see some better qualities of the park.

I do feel each disney resort has their plusses and minuses. Just like everything does. But I think those will begin to change, as it sounds like disney might be doing some remodling of things in the next few years...
