Last Day of season st Sixflags Great Adventure

Nov,3,2003 ,I woke up knowing it was going to be cold at the park, but it wasent as cold as it was prop a few days before. I arrived at the park 5mins after they opened 12:05pm, dispoited to see a sign saying that the season pass entrance was closed!, so we drove up to somewhere in the far end of section A. My parents stayed in the truck , and I was off to wonder the park alone. (by the way this trip would be close to the last for my parents becuase I can drive myself next time, I havent yet becuase Jersey turnpike drivers can be crazy!) I walked into the park without waiting to be screened,my first ride was The Chiller, only the Robin side was open, and Batman sat motionless. I boarded the car before the back of the train, and the ride operatores wherent even careing for what they were doing, they dident even check some peoples lapbars!, I re-rode next to some kid who smelt like strong weed, anyhow... after that I went to the freefall ,and it was ok, it is getting old for me. then I walked over tord Batman The Ride, it was running like garbage, so much that the ride operator who I see operating it alot was astranged by the noises coming from the wheels!, I was calling it the coaster from bedrock!.

by the way Batman had a 5min wait, after my ride, i walsed over tord Nitro and walked the whole queue, another ride with a basic walk on., I boared the car before the front row,and like Batman the ride it ran rounger then normal, and the train seemed to just drag for me. Like some of the other rides the ride OPS dident have much care tord their jobs, they wherent even in uniform. I then walked to Skullmountain and walked on the the back car, it did nothing for me today, and it was just a dul ride I dont even think they had the sound effect on, note effect becuase that is the only thing left in the ride other then darkness.

I then walked around the park seeing how dead the park was, it was bairly alive with that amusmentpark feeling, I wouldent have been surprised to see no monsters walking around by sun down, but then you never know. I then took a ride on The Great American Scream Machine, It was running really smooth, and I was shocked to not even be jerked around like I have been on the ridein the past, most of the time when the train makes the turn out the first loop and vears up into the pair of loops the train feels like it slams intot he track and whips you up , this time it just felt like it was soaring up, with good speed. As the train hit the mid course brakes I started to notice a pattern for where the footers are going to be placed for Superman, and there is already many footers dug out, and I couldent help, but notice one huge hole in the ground!, also there is a area of the cleared land that isent cleared, and you can tell this is where the pretzel inversion will go. ( is is a shaped peice of area with no dirt over it just ashfault).

After GASM I tooka spin on the house of stupidstision thing, it was funny becuase everything Elvaria says, such as "those bore amusmentparks where everyone actaully surives the thrill rides!", and "my park tragic Kingdom will have rides like its not small small world after all ,and Slash Mountain!",after a good laugh, I then went tord Rolling Thunder meeting up with my parents, RT was white!, so great to see it have some colormy father said it look like the guy painted it with his toung!, due to the fact that there was paint all over the place, but im sure they will remove the metal track and replace once they are done. The wait was about 10mins with one train and I sat in the front, this ride was running great!!! It seemed to make the same noise as a Intamin woodie, and I was getting pops of airtime all over the place, I had the best ride on RT that in years!

Now onto Medusa, on my walk over I noticed one train rip and cry throu the half loop like if it was ready for its winter nap!, I supose I wasentin that train, and where we sat was a good spot the ride was running ok, but a little slugish, but what do you want from a coaster that has been running almost non stop for over 8 months. After that we stoped in the huge teapea sotre and then went home.

All in all we where in and out the park in 3hrs! I froze my butt ,but had a good last timeand it should hold me over till about Feb. I read that some people saw track? I looked, but saw non, but what I did see was that SFGAdv still owns the time warp ride. I might go for the winter lights, but im not sure yet, I wonder if they will advetise it on Mainstreem Tv or will it just be for local's, either way SFGAdv has alot of work to get done in the off season, and that is why the season pass parking was closed, becuase they where putting up the Cristmas lights. Till next season, but untill then see everyone on the boards, it was good season filled with great shows, entertainment, and food, aswell as all our favorite rides that we flock to each season, untill next season when they offer us Superman and more great rides, and attractons, maybe they will work on qauility aswell.

It's hard to go to a park freezing your butt off, but at least you survived. From the way you mentioned the park, it doesn't seem all that fabulous. I mean, all the SFGAdv. fanboys are always yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs about it. Maybe I'll reconsider my trip next summer. Anywho good report, seems like you got a lot done!

Lol, you got some of your antonyms and synonyms switched around!
