PKI Question for Ohio Trip

Hey All

I'm planning an Ohio road trip for the 1st week of June and have tentatively scheduled to be at PKI on June 5 & 6 (Thursday & Friday).

My question for all of you is this: Having never been to PKI is is worth spending 2 days or would 1 day be enough seeing as how it is early June?

My tentative plan is:

June 2 - SFWOA
June 3/4 - CP
June 5/6 - PKI

Also, if you feel that it is better to switch the days around let me know.

Thanks!

I went for a day and a half and was able to get everything done. The park was almost empty though because it was a monday in tuesday in late august.

Most schools in OH still have classes the 1st week of June- so you might run into a few field trips on those days (not a huge problem anyway). You def. need at least a full day to fit all the coasters and other rides in PKI- so planning on two is not a bad idea. And by the secnd day if you feel complete you could aslways hit another close by park-- like LeSourdeville or Kennywood (depending on where home is).

If it wasn't for TTD I would say you could do CP in one day as well.
Well, at least the coasters anyway.

having been to all 3 I'd say this. do 1 day at SF and PKI and save 3 for CP. if you're a fan of seeing all the rides in a park then you'll need 3 days at CP. PKI is my hopme park and on a not so busy June day you oughtta be able to have all the coasters ridden by early afternoon.

PKI is also my home park. As a 17 year old last summer i had nothing better to do than spend about a day a week at hte park. Im going to try to give you a general idea of what you should try to do (in my opinion)
I would say that you could easily do all the coasters in 1 day. On a thursday in june you should not be very bad off, and with 2 new rides confirmed and a 3rd unannounced, the crowd should be pretty well spread out through the park. Action Zone will be crowded, however everyone back there will most likely be checking out DELIRIUM.
I would say your best bet would be to head for action zone first. (i know people will disagree with that). A lot of people head that way first and i anticipate that this year it iwll be the same with the new ride, however most of the crowd will be heading for DELIRUM hopefully leaving the coasters with short waits. This being said, SOB should be no longer than an hour, which it isnt anyway. Faceoff will be around an hour wait as well. Top gun normally doesnt have much of a wait at all however there are those random days when it seems to be the most popular ride in the park.
After Action Zone just make your way around the park. Racers are usually a walk-on to a half hour, Adventure express is normally a walk on. This brings you to Flight of Fear. On a hot day, expect to wait a good hour to hour and a half for this ride. On a normal day, Half hour MAX. Vortex is always a walk on. I dont think i've ever waited more than 15 Minutes for that one.
Following the Vortex, you make your way to the big daddy beast! which will be your final hit for the day (unless you decide to head for the 4 count them 4 (way too many) kiddie coasters have in the childrens area) The Beast could possibly hae the longest wait in the park, but generally its around 30 minutes to an hour.
I would deffinetly say you could get PKI done in one day, but thats coming to me whos been on every ride in that park Thousands of times!
Hope i helped in some way!
