Cool Yet Another SFGAm Trip

I'm sure you guys are getting tired of reading my SFGAm trip reports, so I'm just going to highlight points.

-I went with a group of eight people:3 boys and 5 girls.

-Don't ever take a big group of girls to a park. They have their own agenda and really slow the group down with bathroom breaks and eating every hour. They went to the bathroom four times each. The boys went once.

-The ops seemed really bored. They seemed to be doing their job half-assed. They were also very rude today. I saw a larger man having problems on Iron Wolf because he couldn't reach the seatbelt, so they kicked him out without helping. The Triple Play crew took 5 minutes to get everyone on and secured.

-The exception to the bad ops was V2. Not only were they turning the trains fast, they were extremely helpful when the ride broke down. They went into the que and taked to everyone in line.

-Raging Bull only ran two trains the whole day. The line was getting close to an hour and they still didn't put the third on.

-Some rides seemed to be running extremely fast and intense. Iron Wolf was giving a good banging, but the intensity and speed made up for it. Batman also seemed to be running a little faster, my face turned to mush in the finale.

-Superman was running extremely shaky. At the bottom of the first drop, the shaking was so bad it caused extreme pain on my crotch. The pretzel loop made up for it though, because it seemed more intense than normal.

-The park was filled, but not crowded. The lines on the popular rides were 40 minutes most of the day. The crowd really thinned out after 7, leaving many rides as walk-ons. This has happened every time I've gone so far this year.

That was pretty much it. I may think of more stuff later.

Every time I've gone this year Raging Bull has only been running 2 trains. It makes short lines long.

I know, I even asked my friend if they had run the train with yellow restraints(the one that wasn't beign used) if it had run this year. He said it had, so they aren't doing anything to it. I don't get why they haven't put the third on.

I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the incident that happened recently...

What do you mean? The fact that the don't run a third train? They have run all the trains since the accident, only in different combonations.

Both times I went SFGAm, Raging Bull wasn't running the teal train. I don't see why they just can't run all three everyday.

I hate to say it, but the problems you had this day happen almost any day you go to Great America. Its a very poorly run park. EVERY single morning, Raging Bull starts with just 2 trains on the track, and after about an hour they finally add the third one. Whover made up this policy is a total idiot. They KNOW the park will be crowded, and they KNOW the line will be longer if they dont have 3 trains on the track. Yet they chose to do 2 every single day and sometimes never add the third at all. They really need to train their employees better, because its ridiculous. They're slow as hell, they have no enthusiasm, its amazing they get any work done at all.. especially at the food stands. But then, its Six Flags, so they don't care, and they'll never change as long as SFGAm continues to rake in the dough.

I have to disagree Darren. Usually the park is running at full capacity.

I do agree about the employees. The food stands are absolutely horrible, but they still are twice as fast as the ones at SFOG.

Funny I got stuck on V2 and the workers didn't even talk to us to let us know what was going on. I've been to SFGAm twice this year, both on Saturdays and Raging Bull was running all 3 trains I believe. I think the reason for the park thinning out around 7pm is that's probably the time a lot of people are fed up with the park and decide to leave. LOL
