| | | I know there are some nicer new ones right outside of the park. I can't remember them though, so you'll have to wait for someone from the area to help you.
Sorry I can't help much more.

| | | The best destination is probably either the La Quinta Inn or Hampton Inn in Austell, both of which are moderatly nice, not too pricey, and are both only around 3 miles or less to SFOG.

| | | I stayed at the Days Inn which is within walking distance of SFoG. Yeah, it's a dive, but good enough, plus parking was free. While I was there earlier this year, they we're building a new hotel next to it. I don't know the name of it. Try calling the Days Inn at SFoG and ask them what that new hotel is next door. Then go on the web site and look it up. |

| | | Don't stay at La Quinta!!! Hi,
I just went to SFOG last October, and my advice is don't stay at LaQunita! We had several problems. First we walked in the room, and it hadn't been cleaned, then in the middle of the night someone went around banging on all the doors and waking people up. We had another problem, but I can't remember what it was.
There is a Country Inns & Suites 1 exit West of Six Flags that looked nice, we didn't stay there, but wished we had. It also has a lot more resaturants on that exit than the Six Flags exit does. Here's a link to their website. http://www.countryinns.com/home.jsp
Good luck and have fun! |

| | | There are some really nice hotels at the Lithia Springs exit, which is the next exit past the park. There's a new Motel 6 there and that's where we usually stay. Never had any problems there.
Avoid Fulton Industrial Blvd if you can. Namely that Super 8. It was a nice motel and very reasonably priced. The only drawback is that its in the middle of a crack neighborhood and the streetwalkers will actually talk to you as you're pulling out. Never again. |

| | | I stayed in the Masters Inn on the extreme south side of Marietta...it was about a mile north of I-285. It was the nicest thing in the world but it was probably the most inexpensive. There was also a Hilton right across the street though if you're looking for something nicer.

| | | DON'T YOU DARE STAY IN THE DAYS INN!!! OMG NOOOO! It was by far the worst hotel ever. I pulled in and the first thing you notice is the pool on the right and is swampy green with a bloody object floating in the middle. The people there don't speak English. There's people with shopping carts going past your room. The room has flys in it, and a safe for all your values, but im sure 10 people have to key to it when you go to the park. The remote is chinese and then there's the bathroom.
OHHHHHHH MYYYYYYY THE BATHROOM. The bathroom floor is uneven and you get easily dizzy. The floor is slanted left, but theres a gap in the middle, and the shower is tilted the other way. So it's kinda a V-shaped floor with a hole in the center. Try peeing, you have to shift your weight and aim to right and hook your piss in. OMG it's terrible, don't go there, unless you want a crazy adventure.

| | | ^ That sounds like it would be fun to try. I always like trying those kinds of places just so I can look back at the memories and laugh.
