Cool CP-Breakers Express Hotel

Is this hotel good for a family of five. Is the price reasonable and affordable if you want to stay long.

You may want to try a cabin or cottage, but those are a little more expensive. There is more room and more beds in one of those.

BE is affordable for a longer stay, and I bet they have a package. Look on the website or call.

Most people go for the ride and slide tickets. You can buy them at the hotel, they are $59 each. It gets you 2 days at CP, and 2 days at soak city. When you buy them, they give you the ERT passes. It's easy to do, you just ask for them while you're checking in, and they'll swipe your card.

I like Breakers Express. I think its nice and clean plus it is the cheapest CP property. The only thing is that they only have rooms with two queen beds so that will be hard with a family of five.

Since your in St. Louis (I'm in Springfield), I recommenf getting a season pass for Worlds of Fun. Then you can take that to CP and get in for free. If spend two days at CP, you made your money back. A season pass at CP is like $99.00 and its only $49.00 at WOF. That's what I've done for the past two years.

How far away is Breakers Express from CP and where can I get a good deal if I wanted to buy five tickets for four days?

Breakers express is right outside the Cedar Point causeway. So I geuss its about .5 miles from the entrence gates. Try requesting a brrochure frlom www.cedarpoint.com, try visiting tops, or if nothing else get a season pass for $90 at tops. Then you can use it at other cedar fair parks. The hotel usually has discounts tickets too.

I know that Breakers Express does have shuttle service, and they probaly have it for ERT. Thing is, the shuttle will probly arrive at the park at the park's opening time. That is fine, but you still might have a 30 minutes line for TTD/MF. Isn't that a long walk? By the time you get there you will be all sweaty and your legs will not be able to hold you up anymore. Anyways, give Cedar Point a call and ask about it.

I stayed there this year, there is no shuttle. You must have seen busses for a tour group, or something.
I wrote CP an e-mail asking if they would add a shuttle bus that goes to BE and the Radisson.
And yes, the walk is too far. Drive your car, pay to park (you can't get out of it), stay to the left, drive around and park in the soak city lot.

Lighthouse point has the most room for a family, but it is very exspensive (135-235 a night). So, I would go along with eveyone else and say Breakers Express, and they do have some nice packages if you go at the right time of year.

This is post # 3,000 in this forum!!!
