| | | my southeastern trip hey people! Ive never done a trip report before so i guess ill try it out. Im not sure if its supposed to be just about coasters and parks or not. Ill keep it mostly about the coasters but ill add a little bit of the other things we did too.
I work six nights a week unfortunately and i dont get very much vacation time at all so getting a week and a half off this summer was really awesome! My work screwed me over really bad by changing my vacation at the last second and making it a month early. This hurt me bad because i didnt have very much money saved up at all. But my determination prevailed and i set off on a great trip with my sister and girlfriend.
i knew that we didnt have very much time so i had to sacrifice a lot of sleep to be able to do all of the things that i wanted to do. I was driving all the time. We took a million pictures including pics of everyride that we rode but sadly only about half of them turned out. It might have been because we kept accidentally getting the cameras wet and they were just the little disposable cameras. Oh well i guess , at least we got some good pics.
We set out on wednesday evening july 2nd from columbus. We got down to nashville tennesee around 10:30 i think. We hung out downtown for a while and went to the hardrock cafe. Then i drove clear down to atlanta which ive never been to before. I think atlanta is a beautiful city with some great buildings so we walked around downtown for a while. We checked out underground atlanta and went to the olympic park place.
from there i continued on to six flags without any sleep at all. well at least for me lol. I guess i was too pumped up for sleep. I thought that sfog was a great park. It seemed that it was really big with a lot of trees. It has a confusing layout but I like that i guess. It was a thursday but the lines seemed to be extremely long. It was a good thing we got there early so we got to ride a couple rides before the lines got too bad. I wanted to ride the ninja really bad but it was closed. As was batman and deja vu. The later 2 didnt really bother me because ive ridden batman at alot of other parks and ive ridden deja vu at other parks also. The first ride that we rode was the new superman ride. In ohio we have x flight at sfo but ive never ridden it. It seems everytime i go there its closed. So this was my first flying coaster. It looked cool and i expected it to be pretty good but i was very surprised. It was one of the best steel coasters ive ever been on. The whole laying down thing was very scary. Looking straight down at the ground with all of my weight on the restraints definately gets my heart racing. Then we hit that one inversion where its like a diving loop but on the inside of the track. This was a big surprise to me! Your stomach drops sooo bad. its like going down millenium force but on your back. Absolutley insane!
So then we rode gasm which is one of the most beatiful rides Ive ever seen. This ride also surprised me in a good way. It was very fast with tons of ejection air time all the way up to the end. Plus the feeling of the ride is so old and it feels like the train is going to jump the tracks. I loved this ride heres a pic. |

| | | then we ran over to the mindbender on the other side of the park. i thought that this ride was very scary too. At the top of the lift hill it feels like your going to fall backward. I thought that it was a really cool ride though. Especially when it goes on the other side of the trees and drops down by a little waterfall , it gains up some serious speed. I took a lot of pics of the ride but the only one that came out was the one of the sign. |

| | | so we went over and rode the georgia scorcher stand up coaster. By this time the lines were getting very long and it was very hot out. The ride was very smooth as expected. It kinda reminded me of iron wolf at sfga but it isnt as brutal. But its cool on the first drop because it goes strait when i expected it to curve around to the side. I thought it was a good stand up coaster , good quality |

| | | we then went over and rode the georgia cyclone. There was a very long line but at least they have the air condition things in the line for the ride. This ride was quite surprising too. It was very brutal , which i love. lots of sudden changes in direction and tons of mega air. this is the only pic that showed up of the ride its not a great one. |

| | | we rode a few rides after riding the gc but the lines were quite long and we didnt stick around for too long. I wish that the other rides were open. Overall i liked the park very much and the rides were some of the scariest of any park ive been to. 12 dollars for parking was pretty ridiculous though! heres a few pics of downtown atlanta that i took. I love architecture so ill put em in here |

| | | moving south Wild Adventures !!! after we visited atlanta we went down south to wild adventures near the florida border. I almost decided to bypass this park but im so glad that i didnt it really was one of the highlights of the trip. there were absolutely no lines at the park at all. I was really interested in riding the cheetah. When i got to it , i must say that it didnt look as big as i thought it would. It was big but kinda short looking. Well looks can be very diseaving i guess. this was one of the best rides ive ever ridden. It has to be the fastest paced ride ever. The first drop although kinda small has excellent airtime. It kinda reminds me of the raven. The best part of the ride in my openion are the ultra tight turns. They are so sharp but taken at very high speed. The cheetah has moved into my top five right there behind the legend and raven. I think that i like it about the same as shivering timbers! unfortunately none of the pics i took of the ride showed up.
we rode the hangman about 10 times in a row also. It was pretty good. We rode all of the other coasters at wild advenures too. Most of them are little kid rides , there are 9 coasters in all. The park was very beautiful and i was amazed at all of the wild animals that were there including tigers. |

| | | boomers after getting rested up we drove down the florida coast on 195 passing through jacksonville and stopping at daytona beach for a while. We ended up all the way down in the miami area. We stopped by boomers at dania beach. For 10 bucks its unlimited rides on the dania beach hurricane! of course no line for this what so ever! This is a very pretty coaster with some good turns and airtime. they also have a cool go kart track thats 1.5 miles long. |

| | | miami After riding the dania beach hurricane for a while we headed down into miami. Miami is a really cool city. Its more amazing than i thought. We went down to miami beach and hung out. The buildings were beautiful , all different colors even bright blue and pink. So many hot girls and hot cars too. Id put this city on the same level as new york and chicago. Miami bringin the heat!
