SFGAm 7/17 - Good day, but rain

I had a good day at SFGAm today. I went with my brother, my cousin, and my cousin's friend. We went to pick my cousin and his friend up at 9, but they were still sleeping!! However they got ready really fast so we still got to the park at 10:20.

When we got in the park there we went straight to Batman in the front were. Batman's pretty good; it sucks if you're not in the front. After Batman was V2 which is always a great ride. I love impulse coasters! For a change they only had forward on Eagle running at the beginning of the day . Eagle forwards in the front row is awesome. Demon had no line so we decided to take a ride on it before lunch. Demon's okay; the drop is good but the rest kinda sucks.

We were hungry after Demon, so we left to eat Burger King next. The Whopper sure tasted good. It was a little past 1 when we left Burger King.

Once we got back in the park, we went to Superman. Superman was having some problems today; it was down for a total of about 40 min. They took off a train, fixed it, put the train back on, and tested it while we were in the straightaway to the station. The ride itself was great because of the awesome pretzel loop.

Then we went to Viper, which is when the weather got bad. We had a great ride, but black clouds were heading straight at the park. We hopped in line for Raging Bull hoping to ride before the storm. When we got out of the zig-zags, it started to rain. Then lighning and thunder started . After about 30 min, we left the line. We decided to go to Gurnee Mills for a awhile.

Gurnee Mills is so big. We were drooling at the plasma TV's at Circuit City, then I bought the Ghostbusters DVD and a used CD store.

At about 7:30, the storms stopped and we went back to the park. Once we got in, we went to Raging Bull to make sure we got on the ride. Raging Bull is indcredible (my #2 coaster)!! Every ride on it is great. The we DROPPED in on Giant Drop (like the pun?). Another ride on V2 was next. Sadly the red side was closed at the end of the night, so we walked on the blue; then we took a re-ride because no one was in line. Our last ride of the night wass Raging Bull, which was great as usual.

BATMAN: THE RIDE - 1 ride:15 min (front) 7/10
V2 - 2 rides:10 min & 10 min 8.5/10
AMERICAN EAGLE red - 1 ride:15 min (front) 8.5/10
DEMON - 1 ride:walk on 3/10
SUPERMAN: ULTIMATE FLIGHT - 1 ride:2 hr (back) 8.5/10
VIPER - 1 ride:20 min (back) 10/10
RAGING BULL - 2 rides:40 min & 15 min (back) 10/10
AMERICAN EAGLE blue - 2 rides:walk on & re-ride 5.5/10

Sounds like a great time, I'm excited to get out there on August 1st and I can't wait to ride Raging Bull. Why no Whizzer rides, has it been down a bit?

We only ride the rides we like when we go. That's why we didn't go on Iron Wolf either. Anyways, the Whizzer always has a long line because it's the only fun family coaster, and all the families there were in line.

Yah I know what you mean about Whizzer being crowded. I ran to Superman in the morning but I wish I would of ran to this coaster. The line was filled, and there's no one in line but smelly childs who whine and crab about everything. The coaster I thought was pretty good and a little more intense then I would of imagined for a coaster with only a seatbelt.
